I bought a dual 2.5Ghz G5 for $20 (includes popped case screws and leaking processor module) and a complete spare dual 2.5Ghz liquid cooled cpu module which as not yet leaked for an additional $2.
The plus side is that the leak was no problem and the system still works when I swap CPU modules but I really wanna upgrade to the quad G5 module. I have the mid-version (late 2004-2005) motherboard with eight DDR slots and AGP graphics and supposedly there is a certain minimum motherboard revision for you to be able to use the quad processor module.
Any information on this?

Wait wait, did you buy the whole tower or just the modules?
I would love a G5 Aluminum tower for $20...lucky sob!
That's like $400 worth of computer for $20.
It's the whole system.
Try finding just the frame. You are looking at something no cheaper than $100.
