A longtime aide to Vladimir Putin and founder of the state-run Russia Today channel, who was found dead in Washington in November, died as a result of "blunt force injuries to the head."
Beverly Fields of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in D.C. confirmed Mikhail Lesin's cause of death to Mashable by phone on Thursday.
Fields said Lesin also sustained "blunt force injuries of the neck, torso, upper extremities and lower extremities."
She said she could not comment further because the investigation into Lesin's death is ongoing.
As of now, the official "manner of death" is "undetermined," according to the medical examiner.
The findings contradict initial reports in Russian state-sponsored media.
At the time of his death, Russia's RIA Novosti news agency, citing family members, reported that the 57-year-old former press minister had died from a heart attack in his room at Washington's Dupont Hotel on Nov. 5.
Well that sounds like a hell of an autopsy.
Was this information just release by the police or something or did it actually take them a year to determine the cause of death?

It happened in November, so keep in mind all in all it was less than even half a year.
Can't wait to see where this is going.
Must've been the CIA and NSA trying to silence truthful unbiased information because it was threatening them, well RT ain't dead yet!

It sounds quite asenine, that.

Some of it must had to be true. Not everything though.
Sounds like a suicide to me.

How do you kill yourself through blunt force though?
Sounds like something Frank Underwood would do.
How do you kill yourself through blunt force though?
Slam your head on something hard enough. Or slam something into your head hard enough.

That's the joke. Just like the joke about Vince Carter killing himself but having no GSR on his hands, no matching bullets for the gun, loss of important evidence in the case, and all around suspicious behavior of investigators.

You JUST had to spew your Shillary Cliton conspiracy theory in a topic unrelated to it, didn't you? The joke is that Russia has a habit of killing people the government dislikes and such murders being ruled as suicides.
Go hatefuck your Hillary love pillow elsewhere.

Now tell us how you really feel.
I wonder what he did to make Putin bump him off.

I couldn't find anything on a "Vince Carter" other than an alive NBA player, but I think they meant a "Vince Foster" who apparently there is a conspiracy theory that the official labeling of his case a suicide is false and the Clinton's were involved in a cover up.
Doesn't sound true or relevant to the topic to me though.
CIA killing people on US soil? Nah, more like, they'll harass you non stop and try to paint you like a fucked up psycho.
Updated with article.
Apparently his family originally reported it as a heart attack in November

Heart attack, hit table whilst collapsing, plausible.

Thanks for the correction. Heres something about it even tho unrelated
On topic i hope something informative comes out of this investigation
You forgot rule #1
No polonium - not Putin

Nor they found any Putin's fingerprints or his dna, and everyone knows that if Putin wants to kill someone, he does it with his bare hands. Of course it's still possible that Putin called him and mind controlled him to commit suicide though.
Must have been on hell of a fall
Easily explained. He had an heart attack at top of a flight of stairs and fell down. Someone then moved his body back to his room.
Easy peasy.

I wish the five sepereate investigations conducted by four separate organizations which all found this was a suicide would have had access to this information. . . .
Of course they would kill him, western governments don't want to risk people hearing the truth.
By that description there's no way this is not murder. But that could just be the media fucking everything up as usual. Lets wait for the autopsy.
