And watch that they announce the new one in a week
Ooooor we could not buy it.
Activision and Gold don't mix.
Would not be surprised if they released more dlc a week or two later, completely contradicting the 'gold edition'.
I thought 'Gold Edition' was usually used for games which would include all the expansion packs. Like the new Map pack is coming out in a few weeks and then here they come with a 'Gold' edition that includes only the first. Like, every developer can do this if they had their game on steam, just bundle it with 2 DLC's and paste a new price on it. :v:
I'm assuming it's called Gold edition because they want everyone to pay one gold bar for a pile of shit?
There's still 3 more map packs. Oh lordy I can see it now. Call of Duty: Ghosts - Platinum Edition Call of Duty: Ghosts - Diamond Edition Call of Duty: Ghosts - Unobtainium Edition
"One great low price" - 59,99€ Fucking genious

Nice fucking over the people who already bought your crap activision.
Wait I thought the entire call of duty beyond modern warfare 4 or 5 whatever was satire? Noone is actually buying this right? Right????
I'd probably buy it if my computer could run the game at decent frames good as Black Ops 2
Wait I thought the entire call of duty beyond modern warfare 4 or 5 whatever was satire? Noone is actually buying this right? Right????
The Black Ops series is actually good if you ignore the microtransactions in the second. Anything that comes out of the shithole that is Infinity Ward is a hopeless mess, though.
Shouldn't Gold editions include all the dlcs? I actually wanted Activision to create packages like this one for the last games but releasing incomplete "gold" editions...
This has got to be the biggest piece of bull shit to ever come out from Infinity Ward.
I knew it! They finished with the developement so the game got gold!
What a fucking joke.
atleast it's not called the goty edition
atleast it's not called the goty edition
I think this is worse because at least that's over used.
This game is too scary for me, there are fucking ghosts in it
at least they didn't call it GoTy
This has got to be the biggest piece of bull shit to ever come out from Infinity Ward.
Give them six months, I'm sure they'll top it. [editline]26th March 2014[/editline]
The Black Ops series is actually good if you ignore the microtransactions in the second. But yeah, the WaW/Blackops trilogy was pretty decent, IW is just a mess now. [editline]26th March 2014[/editline] Also, wait a minute, so the way this is set up now you can't just buy the base game anymore, now you have to buy this "gold edition", which is the base game, a skin, and one DLC, for the same price they were charging for the base game. So isn't this effectively just giving away the Onslaught DLC and the wolf skin for anyone who buys Ghosts on Steam from now on?

usually i'm the kind of guy who likes cod but this one just wasn't that good it had a bunch of cool stuff like a better unlock system and a neat perk system, but it was just too weighed down by bad performance, lack of gun variety, and limited maps.

I don't play cod games, but map design is a big interest of mine in general and I am hugely into game theory, I've heard a large number of people with the same complaint so I am really really curious if you wouldn't mind answering.

Sorry for the shit I have given you in threads a few months past by the way.
They just added the dlc to the game. The price hasn't changed.
Yeah was about to say, price is the same the game's price was alone, but now with 2 DLCs. So they realised nobody is buying this shit and now they try to put DLCs with the base game? What about people who have already bought the DLC separately?

But since the prospect of reducing prices probably gave someone at Activision a heart attack, they just bundled the DLC and kept the base price. Of course, as the DLC is still available for $15, you're still better off buying a physical copy and saving $5-$30 bucks, and that way you can still break the disc in frustration when you realize what you just bought.
