When I update my graphics card drivers, I get graphical problems. I noticed them in team fortress, and Arkham Cty,
But in Batman, only batman and nothing else (except the odd part of scenery, rarley) is messed up.

Whares in Source games, and the filmmaker everything that is not part of the map is swiss cheese.
As you must have surmised, this dose not enhance the experience of the game.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ 2.60 GH.z

EDIT:
Also this happened before but I found a hotfix, I can't find any now though.
Rule of thumb I follow with graphics drivers; if it's working, leave it alone. Revert back to the old ones.
My computer updated, and demanded I update drivers, before I updated my resolution was all messed up and a message saying I need to update drivers appeared.
What updated it? Do it yourself. Uninstall the driver. Get a program called driver sweeper. Run it to remove all traces from your computer. Then download the most recent driver from the manufacturers website and install them.
I will try a driver sweeper, and report back afterwords.
What GPU do you have?
What are the temperatures? You can use HWmonitor for temps, let it sit for a while and then after gaming for a while.
Well that worked, Thank you very much. It actually works better than before the incident.
