I think my gpu might be starting to get artifacts in games, anyone know some trustworthy software for testing my GPU/CPU as well as viewing their temps?
Furmark, prime95 and speccy has always worked aight for me.
Talk about unnecessarily bashing your components against the wall on account of both those programs. But if you're really looking for a fault, those will find them.
I got no artifacts in furmark, and no errors after 30mins of testing in Prime95 (I need to do a 24 hour test soon at some point) In furmark my computer makes a hissing/grinding ish noise the moment I click start test so I think something is letting off a coil whine. I believe both AMD and Nvidia throttle FurMark so as to not set your GPU on fire, making it somewhat useless as a stress test. Could be wrong though. For RAM, use Memtest86+.
