What a surprise, Shack News is wrong again.

In North America, just nine PlayStation games will be made available for download via the PlayStation Store for Vita owners. It's a surprising, suspiciously small list.
Arc the Lad
Cool Boarders 2
Final Fantasy VII
Hot Shots Golf 2
Jet Moto
Syphon Filter
Tomb Raider
Twisted Metal 2
Wild Arms
In Europe, Vita owners will get access to a much longer list of PSone Classics later this week. Starting August 29th, 129 original PlayStation games will be available for download. Why the disparity between the two territories? We've asked Sony Computer Entertainment America.
Don Mesa, director of Handheld Consoles Product Planning and Platform Software Innovation at SCEA, says in a new video walkthrough of PS Vita firmware 1.80 that Sony plans "phased rollouts" of PlayStation titles each week.
I'm looking at the store right now on my vita and there isn't even a PSOne classics section yet. :v:
And only 8 months after it's initial release!
Great going Sony.
Classics will probably be added later today when the PSN store is updated.
You can start playing classics now if you have a PS3 and download the installer on PS3 and transfer it to Vita.
Currently I have Resident Evil 2 and 3, Final Fantasy 7, and Symphony of the Night on my Vita.
Their top image is so outdated.

Everyone is trying to download FF7 at once, its taking forever to download.
Resident evil? Silent Hill? Dino Crisis? fuck yea
No Spyro the Dragon and no Crash Bandicoot = no deal
Half the games I had as a kid are on that list, if I had more money I'd probably get a Vita just for the classics, especially Metal Gear Solid as my PC version is too old for my computer and almost too new for my laptop.
SCEA is a big joke when it comes to all this. Japan has all of the PSone titles out for the vita now, so what's stopping SCEA?
Also some games you can just transfer from your PS3 to your Vita, no problem.
I've been downloading FF7 on the PS3 to transfer to my Vita for 1 1/2 hours, its only at 20%
Yeah the Crash Games cannot be transferred to Vita, even if you purchase and download on PS3.
Later on I might get Soul Reaver today, game is amazing.
Now all they need to do is the price cut.
It is completely unrealistic for them to cut the price seeing as they are probably selling the Vita at a near loss to begin with. $249.99 seems extremely low for what the Vita has. Now, what they could do is drop the price of the memory cards since they are rather expensive.

I keep thinking the same thing. The System itself is well worth the 250 for the Wifi Model. If a price cut does happen, it won't be until next year, and that would be around the holiday season if you're lucky. There's no question the price will drop, I just think everyone thinking they'll follow Nintendo's move are just being optimistic.
Plus new adopters will have plenty of opportunities to get a better deal this winter when the bundles start hitting shelves. There's a Little Big Planet and Assassins Creed Vita Bundle releasing this year, either of which are probably safe bets, as well as a Call of Duty Bundle, but the game looks lack luster.

Thats even lower than the UK's.
But I'd like lower priced memory cards.
Hopefully by the time I get a Vita, Toy Story 2 will be available on it.
