I've never been put under, and im a hypochondriac.. Can anyone help me out? I think they're putting me out with an IV, but I am not too sure..
Tomorrow* And I only have two wisdom teeth, and I don't know if they will have to be removed yet.

Relax. Just be glad you're getting an IV. I got four needles in my mouth and kept hearing the constant grinding of my teeth being broken apart.
Sorry I was going to read but I got distracted by Xionasis. [editline]11[/editline] well, make sure to be put to sleep, it helps.

Make a video like everyone else. (Like when you wake up all high.) Post on Youtube. Tag on Facepunch. I will rate funny.

When it's all over you get this cool gel ice pack thing which you can keep using over and over by putting in the freezer. Your cheeks are gonna swell up like pufferfish.
Trust me. I'm going too.
Well, then you're getting 5 things out of this situation. Be dandy.
They also give you vicodin, which will REALLY fucking help. Without you're in for a world of hurt.

You should read up on anaesthesia awareness. Happy trails OP
You should read up on anaesthesia awareness. Happy trails OP
I did. Helped a little bit.
you won't feel a thing you'll be stoned outta your mind for about 4 minutes before you pass out then you'll wake up afterwords with less teeth
Wait... I don't even know if i HAVE wisdom teeth. Does everyone need them removed? IF they have them?
everyone has them, not everyone needs them removed
Wait... I don't even know if i HAVE wisdom teeth. Does everyone need them removed? IF they have them?
It's Recommended.
Nope, the reason most people need them removed is because the direction they grow out impacts with your molars. If they don't do that, you're in the clear.
you won't feel a thing you'll be stoned outta your mind for about 4 minutes before you pass out then you'll wake up afterwords with less teeth
So, I assume this is a retarted way to relate, but I guess waaaaay more stoned than what weed could do?
So, I assume this is a retarted way to relate, but I guess waaaaay more stoned than what weed could do?
oh yea everything seems to slow down and you get really giggly, then everything speeds up until you wake up and you have no idea where you are
I had all four of mine removed and it wasn't much of a pain. I was asleep the whole time. I don't even remember waking up. I just remember there was a lot of blood coming out of my mouth but it didn't hurt. I slept for a lot of the time and had very little pain. Most stories you hear aren't like that though but I got lucky. Just make sure you don't use straws at all for about two weeks, rest up, wear the ice pack (does wonders for swelling), and take the pills if the pain gets to be too much. Good Luck! It shouldn't be too bad.
oh yea everything seems to slow down and you get really giggly, then everything speeds up until you wake up and you have no idea where you are
so I dont even realize I was asleep
I just got all four of mine out on Friday! The procedure itself went well although I'm still hurting quite a bit... But getting better!
going under anesthesia is awesome, it's the best sleep you ever get
Lucky they're putting you out. I had it done earlier this month, and the taste as they cut in and pull those things out is just horrendous. The recovery is really the worst part of it. I had one of the sockets open back up after they removed my stitches, so now I've got to try my damndest to keep food out of there while it closes up.
I got mine removed last year also using IV. It fucking sucked waking up to have blood all over your shoulder and pillow for 2 weeks. Oh and I didn't think I'd get knocked out so fast... literally I just remember the first 5 seconds after they put the little breather thing on my nose, my vision blurred, the next thing I remember was me trying to walk while still under the effects. [editline]02:10AM[/editline]
so I dont even realize I was asleep
Pretty much, you don't even know how you fell asleep.
when i had my appendix removed in the end of june, they put me under with gas. it tasted like nothing, so i thought it was air since they never said it was gas. then i remember them asking about my piercings, i told them about them, i closed my eyes, i woke up in the recovery room or w.e its nothing. the worst part was recovery. 2 weeks of doing nothing, and hardly being able to walk. when i walked it was like i had a lead brick shoved up my rectum.
damn. well. shit.
