There were quite a few highlights from last night's White House Correspondents' Dinner, including SNL cast member Cecily Strong's gold-standard set. The most significant one: We got to see a different side of President Obama, via his anger translator.
If you're a fan of Comedy Central's Key & Peele, you're likely familiar with Luther (played by Keegan-Michael Key), Obama's "anger translator," who takes the president's even-handed communiques and gives them a blood pressure-elevating reality check. For five glorious minutes, we got the full blast.

Oh god it happened.
Ahahaha
Hahah what is that.
So much of the older audience look so unamused.
This is 11/10
That last bit, even better than when he told Steven Colbert that he could do his job just as well
The part about climate change was pretty spot on lmao
Obama is the coolest world leader.
That's bloody brilliant.
I may not have agreed to all of his policies, he tried as you can tell from his face and hair.
Brilliant!
Obama stop winning the internet!
I love it how Obama started to ante up himself by the end.
I wanted to hear that from him for such a long time now, since he's been trying to do real good work but kept being denied by other people.
Who is the woman they focus on in the beginning of the clip?
That was just as great as I thought it would be, I'm glad Obama did this
As I anticipated, the comments on this video are awful.
People have managed to somehow make this behaviour a result of both racial and gender issues.
I would love if modern day politicians looked back on how politicians used to speak back in the day
They always spoke with such enthusiasm, anger, the need for change. They grabbed your attention and they projected emotions
My favourite is when politicians hand journo's back the shit they tried to give them
Here's my alltime classic when then Aussie Prime Minister Bob Hawke blew up on air, that's what I'd love to see from modern politicians

Funny, but I felt as though the jokes could have been written better. Key seemed less like an anger translator and more of a "I will say more things to push the point Obama is already saying, just louder" guy.
Still good, and I enjoyed Obama getting intense for a second, but wasn't as stellar as I had been hoping going in.
"Khaleesi is comin' to Westeros!"
I don't know of a better description of Hillary.

But they are similar in that they'd both end up making terrible rulers.
I like how in his last year of office obama is seemingly just having some fun with it. I'm sure some conservatives are seething to idea he isn't a serious guy 24/7, but it makes me smile a bit thinking about him having the sense of humor to go with this, even if he didn't want to.
"Sharia Law is coming to Cleveland!"
This is wonderful.
