I been getting this dxgmms1.sys BSOD error while I play games (mostly BFBC2 and GTA:EFLC). I need help rolling back directx. I tried using DirectX Happy Uninstall, but it costs money. Is there any other way?

Run dxdiag and see if it reports any errors and copy the information here if it does. You could try running the directx web installer which may fix the current files whilst also installing older versions of directx (mainly for compatibility with older programs)
dxdiag didn't detect any problems and the web installer says it's up-to-date
I think you've come to the wrong conclusion, removing directx isn't going to help. Is there a reason you came to the conclusion that you should uninstall DirectX?
I got that BSOD in Crysis Warhead and it fixed by updating the game.
Also are you running up to date drivers ?

You have the old directX files on your computer too not just the most recent one.
So if you want to run game with DX10 or DX9 you need to find a way to force the game engine to run on older DirectX version and you should find that with just a bit googling if there is a way to force those games run on older DirectX.
But the why you're having that BSOD is most likely bug in game's code(outdated version of game maybe ?) or drivers are having compablity issues with the game or your hardware, but i doubt it's your hardware as your GPU is pretty new.
Directx is backward compatible. Rolling back won't help.

Games don't have low level access to the hardware and can't cause BSODs. The game is most likely trying to perform some function that's failing due to corrupt libraries or drivers. It could also be a hardware problem like bad RAM or a bad PSU.
