Please answer honestly. It's for a school project and I need this information. I messed up the poll questions, it should be like 5-9, 10-19 and etc.
75 bucks if it was a really, really good game that was new.
Depends on the game, really.
I try to avoid buying games new, but that gets me screwed over when it comes to new-copy content. (lookin' at you, EA.) in that case then I'm okay with ~£45 ($70)
I normally don't buy new games, but if there's one that I really want, I'll probably buy it as long as it doesn't cost more than around 50$. Scratch that, Steam's prices are in Euro, so around 50€ is really my upper limit, converting to around 60$.
I put 50-60, but it really depends whether or not it's a special edition version of the game.
€20-€30 I'm cheap
If it's over $40, I can wait.
€40,- or €50,- Depends really what game I am buying and what console/system. If it's a Wii or PC game I'm never crossing the €50,- limit. When it comes to PS3 or 360 games I always pay the full price around christmas.
If they made the real duke nukem forever, I'd probably pay about $70
30. 35 max. anything above that I'll just wait till it falls down in price.
the regular price for video-games in norway; 499-599,- for a console game, 399-499,- for a PC game
$30 - $40 for most games these days. (games that last like 8 hours and that's it. 40-50 for games like Skyrim or BF3 that last several hours.
If the game is of good quality, then $50 - $60 would be worth the price.
30$ - 40$, anything above that and I'll just wait when the game's price falls.
40-60, voted 40-50. [editline]14th December 2011[/editline] Almost any price actually because I don't buy games that often.
Why only within 10 dollar ranges. I'd pay 0-65, because a lot of games range in price dependent on the platform.
In dollars? Most games here costs (in dollars) $71, because the people selling them still thinks $1 = 10 SEK, while it's only worth 6 SEK. $50 game = 500 SEK = $70 $70 = 700 SEK.. You get the idea What you consider expensive is normal for us, at least if we pay through Steam. The currency gets converted to Euro, though. It's cheaper. It's worse in Australia, I've heard.
10 USD max. Can't afford any more.
$50 - $60
Honestly, I only say $60 (USD) because that's what I was willing to pay for Skyrim. Pretty much any other game I would not spend more than $50 on.
This is the most 'iffy' poll I've ever seen. It really depends. If the game had graphics of BF3, a map as large as Just Cause 2, the story and land of The Elder Scrolls, and the replayability of Minecraft, then I would pay well over $100 for it. On the other hand if it was something like Minecraft the very most I would pay for it is $20 (and that's stretching it).
40-50 or 60 for a really good game, However 70 dollars is to much
$70 to $100 but it has to be a game I would play non-stop and make love to every night.
I payed about 200 dollars for Skyrim limited edition. It is quite expensive to buy games in Norway, as the average of new games is about 85 dollars. We are rich in Norway though, so its okay.
I'd be willing to pay 40-50 bucks.
If it was some sort of limited edition filled with goodies that seems worth the price, then I'd go over 60$. But I'm assuming you mean an average game, so 40-50$.
50-60, But I typically preorder, otherwise, I'll wait till a Steam sale crops up, unless I really want it.
Less than 5
Haha $60 isn't anything. If you are rich then you can afford it like me :) I spent $150 on black ops (worst mistake of my life)
