I'll be reusing my Core 2 Duo, Hard Drives and Disk Drive. As of now, these parts are just a rough estimate of what I'll be purchasing. The motherboard is DDR2/DDR3 so I can upgrade to DDR3 in the future, although this only allows for two slots of each. The memory that I currently have is 4x1GB sticks of DDR2. Meaning I'll only be able to put in 2GB untill I can buy 2x2GB DDR3 some time after Christmas. Would this be a problem? Would it cause any MAJOR slowdowns in gaming and all-around use?
The graphics card will be of the same chipset, just not sure what manufacturer. I'll be needing the Hyper 212 because the Core 2 Duo that I'm bringing over will be from a prebuilt, meaning I don't have the heatsink to go with it.
If you guys can think of any alterations, let me know. I think I've got a pretty solid build for what I need. (It's just a 'cheap' build that I'm making to get out of my crappy prebuilt so that I've got a case and other components for upgrades in the future).
I'll also be ordering the parts through an independent retailer, so the price will be under my £250 budget.

Oh, and would I be needing to buy other things like thermal paste? (It's my first time building, haven't got a clue what that stuff is, just heard it mentioned)

QQ, about PCIe slots. Somebody said something about x16 1.0 and 2.0. Will my card run any slower if the motherboard only has a 1.0 slot?
looks alright, I can't really find any changes to make
upgrading to DDR3 isn't really worth it but it's your best option for going to 4GB, I personally have been fine for the last 2 years on 2GB of shitty DDR2 so I'd use the 2GB for a while and decide whether you need the extra 2
the hyper 212+ includes some thermal paste
there won't be any problem with the PCI-E slot, maybe if you had a gtx 580 then 1.0 would be a problem but for a 5770 it's nothing
What site is that?

Okay, thanks for the info. I've been using 4GB for ages, just hoping I won't notice any slow-downs. If I have enough money left over that I don't want to spend on anything after Christmas, I'll buy some DDR3.
