That's neat, it reminds me of The World Ends With You, an RPG for the Nintendo DS where during battles you would control one character on each screen using radically different control schemes. It was definitely one of those games you should play at least once, because it was awesome.
poor effort that was the FPS version of Syndicate
I feel like the only person that actually enjoyed Syndicate, I paid full price and never regretted it
I feel like the only person that actually enjoyed Syndicate, I paid full price and never regretted it
I think most people can agree that FPS Syndicate was a good shooter (Co-op being especially fun), if a bit too short, but the problem is that it's wearing the Syndicate label. The original Syndicate games were vastly different, and fans of that game mostly don't really care about shooters, nor do they want to see Syndicate turned into a straight-up shooter. It sold like shit, too (Mostly because EA gave up on it before release and didn't market it beyond the Origin Store front page for a bit), so it may have even killed any hope for a proper remake in the future. I'm somewhat skeptical about this game, too, merely due to the condition of Starbreeze (I don't know if it's the case now, but during the development of Syndicate, they were basically a shell of what they were when they made stuff like The Darkness), though the game has an interesting enough concept that I might keep my eye on it.
