So ever since my iPhone, which was out of use, bricked on a jailbroken app, bricked, I was kinda of shit-outta-luck on iPod gaming. So my question to you hardware guys is when will there be a new iPod Touch, ex. next gen. I mean they must be soon. Are there any press conferences coming up that could lead to one?
try apple section
and google
and yes every September we get new iPods.
Also it's near impossible to brick a recent phone.
Normally released in ~September (As per apples ~June for new iPhone, just before christmas for ipod touch release schedule). Also how did you brick your iphone? I thought it was damn near impossible.

With the iPhone, it was lagging real bad, and my dumbass friend decided to download some "awesome app" that made the background lightning on my phone. Well it went to a white screen and now it won't go off of that. There is no solution, restoring, updating, resetting. and it's jailbroken and out of service so no apple store 4 me.
Can't you put it into DFU mode?

Anything I've tried hasn't worked, I'll have one more go at it.

Just put it into DFU and restored, still only acts as a flashlight
You could try to use ssh if you have it and it's on to delete the app?
My friend had the same problem with his, although it happened because he dropped it.
He had to send it in to apple for repairs. Was cheaper than buying a new one.

I would but I had jailbroken it, and the service on it ended like a week before. I really enjoyed the apps too. Hopefully a new iPod soon.
You could try putting it on ebay once you get a new one. Somebody might want it for spare parts or something (Or know how to fix it).
