Is it a router that you got from Virgin? What's the brand and model?
This guy seems like one of those people that would say they're having computer problems, then when told to bring it in, simply bring in the monitor.
its a Belkin N wireless router
Check for latest official firmware, flash it to latest. (looks like there is a new version out)
or you might be able to throw dd wrt or tomato on it (not sure about tomato but i know dd wrt supports some belkin routers.)
After that if your still having issues you may need to adjust a few settings (maybe turning wireless n off, ect.)

Virgin media connection connected to 12 PCs (Switch in bedroom for consoles hence why only 9 connections at main switch) in a hardwired ethernet network, Stable as a rock.
I don't see what you Problem is OP? - You just either connect them via cables or just wirelessly connect them o.0

That'd a wireless N router. Do the laptops and PS3 support wireless N? I doubt it. Perhaps you need to enable B/G if the router supports it.

Probly shitty firmware or it's overheating, i helped an older guy a few weeks ago with getting a router and setting it up, ended up using the same belkin he's got with no issues but every belkin i've ever owned had similar issues to what he's having till a firmware update (the last one had to be updated to a beta firmware that was only available in the uk, but it resolved my random d/c's)
That and turning of N would probably help too.
how do i turn N off?

Get the manual for your product.
Read it.
Learn something from said manual.
Do said thing.
Stop making threads asking for help, without explaining the situation in OP
??
PROFIT!!

Do yourself a favor and get a Linksys router.
Problem solved.

To be fair, Linksys routers stock firmware SUCK!!
They're only good with DD-WRT firmware (or similar solutions)

But none the less, awesome right?
Yeah, Linksys stock routers are dick. Mine randomly shuts my internet off for undefined periods of time.

So put Tomato on it. I have a WRT54G v3 still going strong.
I also have a WRT54G.
Linksys routers run just fine on stock firmware!

What do you mean? Mine works just fine.

That after a day of heavy downloading, the router just cuts the connection to all computers (both wired and wireless) and you need to hard reset it.
Flashing to DD-WRT firmware fixed my problem.
