Hey! My friend has been wanting to get a new PC within a 1000 Euro budget. She will be using the site http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx, but I've included eBuyer so that it is easier to compare and suggest different parts. So far, I have put these parts together
CPU: http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=619276 GPU: http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=745863 RAM: http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=744179 Hard drive: http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=653050 PSU: http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=492649 Motherboard: http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=746639 Case: http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=651991 CD Drive: http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=645800 OS: http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=497899

CPU: http://www.ebuyer.com/251595-intel-core-i5-2400-3-1ghz-socket-lga-1155-6mb-l3-cache-retail-bx80623i52400 GPU: http://www.ebuyer.com/385789-msi-hd-r7850-twin-frozr-oc-edition-2gb-gddr5-dvi-hdmi-dual-r7850-twinf-2gd5-oc RAM: http://www.ebuyer.com/342352-crucial-8gb-ddr3-1600mhz-ballistix-sport-memory-bls2cp4g3d1609ds1s00ceu Hard drive: http://www.ebuyer.com/319639-seagate-1tb-barracuda-internal-hard-drive-st1000dm003 PSU: http://www.ebuyer.com/173104-corsair-650w-hx-modular-psu-cmpsu-650hxuk Motherboard: http://www.ebuyer.com/363737-asus-p8z77-m-z77-socket-1155-8-channel-hd-audio-matx-motherboard-p8z77-m Case: http://www.ebuyer.com/312927-antec-p280-case-0761345-82000-4 CD Drive: http://www.ebuyer.com/278111-sony-ad-5280s-0b-sata-dvd-optical-drive-oem-ad-5280s-0b OS: http://www.ebuyer.com/259863-microsoft-windows-7-home-premium-w-sp1-licence-and-media-1-gfc-02050
Could anybody help me by letting me know if anything is incompatible, bottlenecked or improvable? Also, will this comfortably run modern games on mid-high settings? Thanks in advance!
What is she going to play/what programs is she going to use?
I would've changed the i5-2400 with i5-3570k http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=660227, or if that is out of the picture, at least go with the 2500k. Which is slightly better and have over clocking capability. Unlike the 2400 which you have to unlock and probably won't have much to gain. And OS? Swedish :yarr:. I also highly recommend you to throw a SSD in there, possibly get a good and cheap one at least for OS. Maybe http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=657307 or you could go higher and get more storage. Comfortably run games on mid-high? You will be able to run pretty much every game very close to maxed out, if not maxed out, comfortably.
If you're still going with a 1155 CPU then grab a heatsink since Intel's stock coolers aren't the best ones, it's really worth it. Lycka till!
