Edit: Wrong date on the camera too lazy to set it, and sorry for the bad quality pics.
I have a couple network cards like those.

Got an AMR modem. I have a closet full of other relatively old computer parts.

OP I am disappoint. :colbert: I thought it would be some equipment that is actually -old-.
I have a box filled with a shitload of ISA cards that I forget how I got and I forget why I haven't thrown out yet. [editline]03:11PM[/editline] And your cards are not old since they are not ISA :v:
I have some normal phone line modems, one says "GUMBALL" and the other says "PINBALL".
Am I cool now?
I've got a similar board to that one. Although mine's a TXP4.
Why is there a price sticker on the CPU?
It was there when I originally took of the heatsink. So the computer ran with the sticker on it, that picture is like 3 months old though.
Oh boy.
I'm going to get that mobo running.
Take the sticker off first k?
I was going to say, those really aren't that old...
I'm going to get that mobo running.
try installing windows 7 on it :D
Why is there a price sticker on the CPU?
It's not a price sticker, it's a manufacturing date. 15 97 would be week 15 of 1997.
You think that's old? I have hardware from a GateWay 2000 P5-100, that's a Pentium 1 running at 100Mhz. That includes a 1GB hard drive, many ISA cards, and a really old S3 video card. I also have a hard drive laying around that is only in the MB not even GB range.
congratulations
So why is this in Tech Support?
LazyV moved it.
Pfft. That's nothing. When I was young we had 10mbit BNC coax and the transceiver was external to the actual network card because the circuitry was so big. Of course I replaced all those transceivers two years ago (yes, I was using coax up until 2007) with more modern fiber optic ones. On the plus side it meant I had to run a lot less cable. EDIT: benjgvps, can I buy that AWE64 Gold off you for my DOS box?
EDIT: benjgvps, can I buy that AWE64 Gold off you for my DOS box?
I will see what I can do. PM me.
I will see what I can do. PM me.
Your post count right now is epic win.
When i get my rental place soon i'm gonna go grab some cheap high speed fiber devices and build an insanly fast fiber LAN
Why are you using 10Mbit Base fiber passive and active devices?
I got an assload of computers here that are contrained to networking over AUI and that's it. The other cables in that bundle are not in use or go to systems that do not need a fiber interface.
