American socialite Justin Ross Lee is the star of an outrageous feature video where he is portrayed as a Frank Abagnale style travel industry hack.Basing himself on the fraudster who posed as a pilot and inspired the Hollywood movie Catch Me If You Can, the socialite has shared a host of controversial hacks on how he secures upgrades and better hotel rooms when travelling. His video tips, which can only be taken as tongue-in-cheek, appears to show the young globetrotter adopting multiple personas as he travels in order to achieve elite status at airports. He claims that he doesn’t scam airlines, but instead takes advantage of where there are holes before referring to himself as an ‘international Jew jetter’ – a term he uses to describe his lifestyle. He then states that people find serenity in places like central park and that he finds his grounded at JFK airport. ‘I use the first class lounge as an office space. There’s WIFI, free food, unlimited alcohol,’ he says. him doing what he does with the first class lounge, is it any different from buying a big tv to watch the superbowl and then refunding it? or buying jewelry and clothing and then returning it before the refundable period ends? also that skiplagged thing is pretty sick.
Dang he just oozes Sleaze, I wish I was as smart as he is.
These tricks are pretty clever and interesting but the guy comes off as a bit of a doucher.
I bet you the airline fraud is a media fraud. Nightline doesn't care about the true it cares about narrative.
genius
That girl's cleavage is ridiculous. Also the guy seems like such a sleazeball.
Damn, that's impressive. Too bad that after this piece, loads of people are going to start doing the same thing and airlines/hotels finally crack down.
wasn't there a chinese dude who did the refundable ticket scam thing like a year ago and ate free food because of it for a year or something
CliffyB?
CliffyB?
Well let's not say things we can't take back.
"International jew jetter" This dudes straight outta pol.
That skiplagged website is really cool, for $55 I could get to Sydney from Brisbane in 2 hours, I remember it costing us ~$105 in 2007 [editline]22nd March 2015[/editline] hell $55 is really cheap to for a fairly "long" flight
Dang he just oozes Sleaze, I wish I was as smart as he is.
You are probably as smart as he is. The only difference, is that he notices other stuff, and due to this 0 fucks personality -which in many cases has little to do with intelligence- allows him to do that stuff. I bet full in everyone has thought about the allergy method to move seats, but actually, there's something in your head that says "Wait, that's fucked up.". If he is THAT smart, then why is he not gaining the money needed to enjoy those things in a legitimate (or well....not legitimate) way? If you want to define "smartness" as the speed at which one collects/gains valuable info and actually applies it...I don't see this guy being so smart.
Damn, that's impressive.
People won't start doing that stuff due to the "voice" I mentioned -which after watching a video doesn't simply go away- and the fact that the complaining thing to hotels can be done by 0 fucks given people -Let's be honest, "Loads of people" doesn't fit into that category- which it makes it far worse than the allergy method. The later just involves you lying. The former involves a confrontation and trying to impose a desire upon someone else... Things will keep being the way they are.
wasn't there a chinese dude who did the refundable ticket scam thing like a year ago and ate free food because of it for a year or something
Yeah, everyone assumed he was a frequent flyer too.
That skiplag thing or whatever is pretty cool. It's a shame about the lawsuit.
That skiplag thing or whatever is pretty cool. It's a shame about the lawsuit.
Since it's publicly available information, I can see similar websites and services popping up. I'm sure there is a few alternatives by now.
On one hand, this is a pretty valid way to use customer service & show that you can talk your way into a lot of things, as long as you can act the part. On the other hand, it kind of strikes me as somewhat immoral since he's cheating the system. Still, I'd do it. Also every time that camera panned to the lady in the red my eyes went towards that chest. I'd sleep in those.

How on earth did he manage to get that solid 10?
How on earth did he manage to get that solid 10?
He looks very confident, I guess that's it
he looks like a dork
A douche maybe, but a dork?
He looks very confident, I guess that's it
Pretty much this. Very confident in himself and his abilities and for most women that's hella hot.
Do a video on Tom Stuker instead, that dude seems more interesting. I mean seriously, trading frequent flier miles for a cameo on Seinfeld?
These tricks are pretty clever and interesting but the guy comes off as a bit of a doucher.
the refundable first-class lounge thing was kinda cool and smart but lying about being from a corporation/being a dick to hotel managers/staff thing is not.
i want to motorboat her cleavage so hard :quagmire:
It's a shame he couldn't hack himself a better personality
"International jew jetter" This dudes straight outta pol.
People from pol don't travel because that risks exposure to other cultures and viewpoints One Neat Little Trick (still waiting for my cheque, Buzzfeed) I've found for getting cheaper hotels without being a sleazebag is filling out the reservation form but closing the tab before submitting it. About half the time I'll get an email within a few minutes offering me a discount to reconsider. (Web forms can see what you type into them without you having to actually press submit)
