• Internet Connection Splitters- Do they Exist?

I'm just wondering if anyone can lend a hand here. I'm thinking about moving my computer upstairs, but I have my ethernet cable currently plugged into my 360. Is there such thing as a splitter that *shares* the connection, and allows two ethernet cables to be ran at once? Such as a splitter with one cable hooked up to my 360, and one to my PC? Or do I just have to deal with it and disconnect them from either when I want to use either one? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Routers work too. If you're going straight into a modem, and you're only allowed 1 IP address from your provider, a switch won't do the job
