And keep their channels relevant as mean pandering to politically reactionary old people.

They're watching Fox News already, I don't doubt these people are there for the same reason as Colmes or any other Fox liberal. Regardless I think it's for the better that some opposition is present so that commentators are at least challenged a bit. Besides, if he left the GOP over Trump he isn't that right wing compared to his old employers. That could be an indicator that this is an attempt to bring over #NeverTrump conservatives to their side of the aisle.

Ok, That what you think this makes sense, But way make sense that MSNBC is going make more isolated their centrist/centre-left viewers instead try to make somewhat true neutrality discussion between political spectrums.

He's a contributor, not a host. That just means they'll have him on here and there to talk. I'm happy to hear it. The more opposing opinions the better.
New's channels should strive to be neutral. For every left leaning pundit they should have a right leaning pundit. They should also have to wear blue or red ties so you know what flavor of bullshit you're being fed.
I have no clue who was George Will, so I was thinking who the hell is George and I kept thinking George Lucas
