• XBox 360 headset that doesn't use any audio jacks (completely wireless would be amazing)? <$90 budge

Okay, so I have just hooked my XBox 360 up to my PC Monitor through my DVI-D port and the video is great. Just one problem, though. I can't find any form of headset that can be used on an XBox 360 without using audio jacks. Almost no pre-planning went into putting the 360 into my monitor, and the monitor I am using does not have sound support or audio jacks. Am I stuck at having no sound forever unless I find a different monitor model? I'm pretty much hardware-retarded, so please forgive the bare-bones OP. Ask me things if you need them to help you help me.
http://www.instructables.com/id/How-To-Xbox360-HDMI-RCA-audio/ there's no completely wireless solutions other than Microsoft's official headset thing, which would only be for voice. You have to modify your RCA video out to fit with the HDMI plugged in, and then use the RCA outputs into whatever headset, headphones, or speakers. If you plug it in directly to headphones, you won't be able to change the sound levels unless you have an inline volume control. You could get a cheap amp for volume control as well. Thanks, but as I am also an extreme pussy and afraid of being electrocuted by a statically charged kitten, will that be dangerous even if I put the electrical tape on?

The pointyness of the wires will hurt your more than the electricity that those would ever put out. I hate being poked by tiny wires.
Cool, I'll go do that right now. Thanks an assload, man.
You can buy a separate audio connector for a couple bucks that works with hdmi cables.
Wait, shit. What do I plug the audio jacks into if I don't have audio jacks on my monitor, then? Do I even need to plug them in? My PC? How would that work?

Yes, but my headset has a two male ports (green tip and pink tip if that helps i dunno what the fuck it means because hardware retarded remember), so how would that fit into there? Unless I just need the adapter and plug it straight into there? [editline]16th December 2012[/editline] Talking about the second link, dunno if I need the extra wires or not.

Okay, so I MacGyvered my RCA cable to be able to fit with my HDMI cable, and I can now hear the sound of the XBox faintly through my headset, but through a lot of static. I can adjust the volume but it also adds more static. What can I do to get rid of the static and raise the sound? The amps?
