That's nothing sort of awesome. Now he just needs a talent. (A golden radio voice, perhaps?)
Polite.
The bloke who lost it should give the man at least half of the money or more, at least that's what I would do.. He isn't going to miss it with a job like that
what an idiot I would've kept it
Commendable action, but it is actually his duty as a consumer to do what benefits him the most. That is the very basis of the free market.

He's getting a reward for turning it in, possibly cash
Very cool.
Alot of Homeless people don't realize that an Action like this can change their entire life.
And by change I mean, that person who the money belongs too will probably end up finding this man a place to stay and a job.
"It could have changed his life, atleast for a little while."
Nice.
The reporters kept saying it was the "right thing" to do. Who's to fucking say what the "right" thing to do is? A guy walks down the street and sees a $100 on the ground. Whoever the fuck lost that bill wasn't responsible enough to own or take care of it, or the previous owner just didn't give a fuck enough. Whatever the case, what the new owner does with it is up to him or her, there shouldn't be a socially-determined "right" or "wrong" way of going about it. That's just my two cents on their bullshit commentary.
As for the actual deed though, damn that man is brutally honest and noble. Can anybody here imagine being homeless and passing up any sum of money? $1500 could last a homeless person a long time.
Let's be honest most of us, including myself, would have just built ourselves a kick ass gaming rig with that money. This is one nice man.
I feel bad for the guy. The lawyer should help him out and maybe find him a job as a cleaning person or whatever in his place of business.
