• Mouse double clicking on single click

So, today, I noticed that about 50% of the the time, my mouse would act as if a single left click was a double click, which is extremely irritating. My mouse is a Logitech G500s. I've tried googling the problem, and I see people complaining of the issue on the earlier G500, but nothing about the G500s. It doesn't seem to be a problem with the mouse driver, as it's up-to-date and still happens even if it's turned off. I also switched the right and left buttons around temporarily, and the right mouse button didn't have the issue, so I assume it's some kind of mechanical problem. Can anyone help me out?

I had the same problem and tried the fix above but that didn't work. I ended up just getting a new mouse all together. If it's still under warranty... contact Logitech.

If I don't find a fix, I'll just grab a new one.
