• "Minor Swing" Guitar cover on a homemade guitar

I spent the last 4 weeks constructing this guitar for a school project. It's nothing amazing compared to the guitars I've seen people make on this forum but it was just something quick and fun. The video is a cover of the song "Minor Swing" by Django Reinhardt. I know it's a little off tuning-wise but that's because the guitar goes off tune often and the intonation is a bit fucked up, just bare with me and try to watch the whole video. Nothing to be taken too seriously though, I have no sort of experience with this kind of thing. haha now THAT'S cool [editline]4th January 2012[/editline] question though, did you make the neck yourself or did you steal it from another acoustic?

Everything was made from scratch with the exception of the tuner nuts at the head of the guitar. I ripped those out from an old guitar. The neck was made from 3 pieces of wood glued together. And if you're curious the wood is American Mahogany with a European cherry stain.
For some reason I was convinced that you had made two guitars, one for rhythm and one for lead. I'm stupid. Anyway, this is cool, but was the intonation the reason the chords sounded ever so slightly out of tune?
you're only supposed to use two fingers for Django, other than that good job

Also it's a slightly dissonant chord progression (most the chords are minor 6s) which doesn't help that. Django was a beast.
