And here it is [t]http://core0.staticworld.net/images/article/2016/01/dsc00204-100636709-orig.jpg[/t] Pretty cool that they've decided to take cooling more seriously. Maybe now stock coolers wont go immediately into the trash.
It says it's 39db at its loudest, which is the same as the Hyper 212 Evo. That's interesting considering the size

Are these still going to fit AM3+ sockets?
Hopefully Intel gets their ass out of their butt and start giving us some proper stock coolers. I always found this stupid gpu's don't need any hassle, you just buy it and insert it in the slot that's it. you don't need to apply the thermal paste and a custom fan made by X. Not to mention the price tag.
While most see stock coolers as a waste, I think they're alright for being included. It does the job, you know. Most people won't play games on those CPUs anyway so getting a huge cooler would be unnecessary unless sound is somehow an important factor.
Isn't this the same as their old cooler?

So which one is better than the 8350.
at least they didn't name it something like "Magma" or "Vulcan" but wraith is an odd name for a cooler I suppose a cold pun would have been a sim however

Was about time really, I got one of the older stock fans on my 8350 and it's not really enough actually. CPU get's dangerously hot all the time, but I've been way to cheap to get a new fan. Gonna get one soon though, wanna see if I can get some overclocking done.
