It was a pretty cool idea but like, nobody used it.
It was really unnecessary when you have retails all over the place selling the very games Origin offered to ship you
I don't know why anyone would want to buy new games through Origin in the first place let alone physical copies. Titanfall, for example, costs £45 on Origin whereas Amazon sells both physical and digital copies for £30.
I like physical copies and all, but I see no reason to wait another week (at least) for a physical copy to arrive when I'm buying it through a service that also offers a downloadable copy that wouldn't take more than a couple of hours to complete downloading and installing.
I could imagine that this can be somewhat beneficial for people with a download cap though.

I'm glad as the mexican origin had it selling for £24
I'm part of that 1%. Haven't purchased that much via Origin but what I did was usually on a physical disk. I just like having a disk for quick installation, as well as having a box to put on my shelf.

Yeah, the wonders of leasing your game licenses and not being able to install them if you have no internet or it's a shit connection. Blah.
I bought physical boxed copys of BF4 and titanfall. Here in Aus it was about $20 cheaper to buy the retail version of titanfall instead of the Origin version.
I like having boxes, really exemplifies the library, though there are some games I wish I
Had boxes for.
One of the nicer things about Origin selling retail copies of games is that game sales would also apply to the physical releases.
So whenever they do some major sale you could get the 360/PS3 versions cheaper than GameStop or whatever.
Also like to add with retail edition games are the special editions that can at times be pretty neat.
