I JUST GOT BF2. THIS THREAD IS NOW OBSOLETE. Hey facepunch, I got a $25 prepaid debit card as a gift, I would like to spend it on some/a new game(s). Could you guys recommend me some decent games that my computer would be able to run at at least 20 FPS? Here are my system specs: OS: Win7 Premium 32bit SP1 CPU: Intel Pentium Dual CPU T3400 @ 2.16GHz RAM: 2GB Motherboard: Wistron 3612 (Dunno, it's what speccy says) Graphics: (LP156WH1-TLA1 (1366x768@60Hz)) Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family HDD: 156GB Western Digital WDC WD1600BEVT-60ZCT1 ATA Device (SATA) (Plenty of free space) I would prefer fantasy/rpg games, but I wouldn't mind some good games of another genre. PS: Why am I asking you, facepunch? Well, I have no clue about how decent my laptop's hardware is, and what games it can run. Besides, I trust facepunch's taste for games. [editline]26th August 2011[/editline] I came across Dragon Age: Origins on steam, would I be able to run it ok? I seem to meet the system requirements, except I'm not sure if my graphics chip/card is sufficient.
minecraft, almost everyone likes this game
minecraft, almost everyone likes this game
Ah yes I forgot to mention I already have minecraft. :v:
Anyways, terraria is pretty good. http://store.steampowered.com/app/105600/ also, you'd probably run dragin age: origins at around 10-15 fps.
Deus Ex is a popular game. [editline]derp[/editline]
Anyways, terraria is pretty good. http://store.steampowered.com/app/105600/ also, you'd probably run dragin age: origins at around 10-15 fps.
No he can't.
on an integrated gpu he can't play da:O, the cpu would be fine (I can max it at 40 fps with a c2d and a 5770)
Half Life, Half Life 2, Gmod (might be pushing it on multiplayer), Red Orchestra (original), Early PC tony hawk games (Tony Hawk Underground is an amazing game) early hitman games, bf 1942 (there are still people playing it), Assault Cube, Urban Terror, Trackmania Nations (low settings)
you people are fucking terrible at suggesting games, why the hell would you play a new game at 30 fps on the lowest settings possible, that's not playable. that's just bullshit your computer can emulate any snes/genesis games. maybe n64/psx. cave story is basically the best 2d game ever made, quake live is the best multiplayer fps ever made, and bastion is a new indie game that owns hard you should probably play it

Fuck, I need to find my discs. That was my favorite Battlefield.
Alright sorry for the (very) late reply, but I was away for the day. I already have the following: Orange Box games Gmod CS:S Hitman: Blood Money Trackmania United Forever (I can play this on high settings at 40 FPS by the way) Thank you for all the suggestions though, I will check those games out. [editline]26th August 2011[/editline] What about Battlefield 2? Can I run that? [editline]26th August 2011[/editline]
bastion is a new indie game that owns hard you should probably play it
[thumb]http://cdn.steampowered.com/v/gfx/apps/107100/ss_d66cf246c7aea165da113f92fc184142185d5d1b.1920x1080.jpg?t=1313701914[/thumb] I fucking hate having to view the game from that angle. It's unplayable for me. [editline]26th August 2011[/editline] I downloaded the demo for BF2, it runs great at medium settings. I just purchased BF2 on steam. Thanks to all who replied.
