It looks disgusting in my opinion. It looks like YouTube now.
I like it very much, easier to find all of the services.
I prefer the old one, mainly because i didn't have to open a menu to get to the buttons i want to click.
I like when people say stuff looks disgusting. It's like you saw the search page and then threw up all over your desk. Is that what happened?
Already had it for more than a month. I like it more than the other one, easier to find the services. New Google Homepage, plus how to enable it early! Also, wrong: "Another consequence of the move is that it now takes users two clicks to enter services such as Images or News, rather than the one click that was previously needed." Hover over the Google icon and the menu opens, click once on images. 1 click only. :smug:
I like when people say stuff looks disgusting. It's like you saw the search page and then threw up all over your desk.
I prefer the old one, mainly because i didn't have to open a menu to get to the buttons i want to click.
Would be neat if you could choose the services you use the most and have them displayed horizontally at the top. And keep the rest in the drop-down menu. Then most people should be happy.
Ugh, I never liked this idea. Why can't we have the buttons at the top? It just looks... empty, now.
Doesn't matter how they change it. I'll still get used to it.
-snip-
I'd prefer keeping the bar on the top. Its easier, faster, it has worked for quite a while now and its just plain annoying having to open a tab every time you want to access a different service, especially after being so used to just hitting the buttons on the top. Also, cluttered? Google is the least cluttered page I use.
I've had the new design for ages I think.
I don't think i've ever gone directly to the homepage in years, I just use the searchbar
I like how they're finally unifying all their services to have a similar design. The Google+ look is a good one.
I like how it looks, but sometimes I'm going to click on "Images" and I accidentally mouse over the Google button at the top left and the bar comes down on top of the search types, which makes me stall for a second... "What just happened? Where did Images go?"
It's fucking annoying just like instant.
Nice look, but if the list is going to be activated by mouse over the small delay needs to be gone. It seems sort of silly for the normal things like images to be in there. I like the icons though, they have a sort of clean, old look that reminds me of the colors in TF2.
It's fucking annoying just like instant.
I sure don't think so. It can considerably reduce the number of searches you have to do.
Now you have to click in the box to type your search. Useless shit, google, useless shit.
I really don't like how bulky they made it.
What was wrong with the horizontal bar?
It would be nice if they let you drag and drop services on the bar along with the dropdown menu.
Heh.

I remember that.
Now you have to click in the box to type your search. Useless shit, google, useless shit.
Not for me you don't
What was wrong with the horizontal bar?
That's old shit; vertical bars are the new "in" thing now.
What was wrong with the horizontal bar?
Not enough people noticed it.
I hate it, glad mine reverted back.
I like when people say stuff looks disgusting. It's like you saw the search page and then threw up all over your desk. Is that what happened?
Buying a new keyboard, Is not a joke.
