Hello Facepunch.
I've got a HD5850 Black Edition from XFX atm, and the GTX 460 dropped pretty much in price. Would it be a good idea to sell my 5850 and get the GTX460? ( I overclocked the 5850 to 800 mhz core and 1200 mhz ram, no increase in FPS though :s )
I'm running 1920x1080.
Thought of this: http://www.komplett.dk/k/ki.aspx?sku=603101
I'm also looking at a cpu cooler. I'm running on an i5-750 2.66 cooled by an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 rev 2. I was thinking of overclocking it, but I'm afraid of the cpu overheating and taking damage.
The Corsair H50 looked pretty damn nice for OCing. I would prefer if it's silent and small.
Ill take that 5850BE off your hands...
Why do you want to downgrade to a GTX 460?
Also, I think you'd be better off with a Noctua NH-D14 or something in that direction.
Like what Erwin said, it is a downgrade. Look at the GTX 480 instead or wait for the higher-end 6000 series to release.
Yeah.. Looked at the D14. Will it fit inside a CM 690 II advanced?
Oh, and Richard, I live in Denmark.
From what I've read, it should fit. It may block one or two of your RAM slots though.
Yeah.. Okay, so.
Should I buy the CM 690 II Advanced or the Noctua NH-D14 first? I'm pretty annoyed of my Antec 900 needing to be cleaned every two weeks, cause of lacking dust filters and the cable management options are really bad. ( I did cut my own holes, which made it alot better, stoll bad though.
It also supports watercooling, so it's futureproof.

don't bother with the D14
hyper 212+ is enough for the average user

Isn't the D14 fine?
Reap, I was planning on overclocking.

it's not that it's a bad cooler, it's just overkill for what people will use it for
plus it can cause problems with it's size
