Call Of Duty Bad Company 3
Just lets this cash cow starve already jesus.
That irony.

If CoD went bad company way I'd be cool with it.

Bad Company is great on its own being made by DICE. The arcade style gameplay of CoD wouldn't really fit in.
This confirms that black people are in it.
Bitchass in the background has a beanie.
Betchu the storyline's going to take place somewhere cold.
I'm not buying it because this one's made by Sledgehammer Games, the guys who helped with MW3, the worst CoD before Ghosts.

But BFBC2 gameplay was pretty arcade-ish, to be honest.
Will this one have separate facial hair AI?
Suckers! I've been playing this game since 2005!
When will it end?
Already ?
I bet the game will be the same. "Why not make a, like, CoD with the same things of CoD 1, develo- FUCK IT LET'S MAKE A TOMAHAWK THROWING SIM WITH DOGS"
This might be alright I'm curious what Sledgehammer can do by themselves.
Weren't they the ones working on that canceled WW2 cod set in Italy or something? I might be mixed up here.

CoD 2 was best CoD.
CoD 2 was best CoD.
For sure, played this non stop in my early teens.
MW3 was okish, a lot better then the NEW IW shite anyway.
Either way I'm not buying it, I'd probably consider it if it was Treyarch.
i get it if you like call of duty (especially the treyarchs), but this series has become one of the biggest tumors in the video game industry and i'd like to see it roll over already
CoD 2 was best CoD.
Didn't CoD 2 introduce the infinite enemies mechanic?
Call of Duty 2 best by miles, but Call of Duty 3 was still pretty great. Its campaign was every bit as good, and it had really solid multiplayer on the computer version.
Didn't CoD 2 introduce the infinite enemies mechanic?
You mean the best mechanic of all time?
CoD gets crazy easy when you realize that there are literally no objectives in the game except moving from point A to point B, and when enemies spawn in from point B to point A, they have to move into cover on their way, which means you can often reach point B and progress before the enemies have even gotten into position and started shooting.
Really? I was not impressed by CoD 3 at all, I mean it wasn't bad but it's definitely not in my top 3 by any regard.
I wish they'd take a risk and go for something new-ish with the setting though, they did it with Black Ops and that kicked ass!
Ghosts was really disappointing for me, not just because it was god-awful, but because the first pieces of information promised it was going to be some sort of "World-After-War" scenario where all sorts of technology is wiped out.
A semi-apocalyptic COD would be really neat, but instead the final mission of the campaign has you taking control of a state-of-the-art battle tank, along side dozens of other battle tanks. And you're basically using recycled equipment from MW3, with all the same flashy gadgets.

It mostly just felt like a slightly updated and more pretty Call of Duty 2, as far as the campaign. Fun and actiony. I know it wasn't terribly popular, but I loved its multiplayer! It introduced a lot of the mechanics you see in the newer titles, like kill streak rewards and weapon attachments, but it did it before those mechanics were tired out and dull, so they were pretty notable. Having dogs charging through multiplayer matches was just cool. I seem to the remember the PC version having a much different multiplayer experience than the console version, but it's been years, so I might be misremembering!
The vehicles didn't really add anything, but they also didn't really detract anything. There were just kind of there, any every now and then somebody would hop in one. Most people preferred just sticking to the foot game.

I love WWII shooters, though. One of the things I dislike about modern shooters is that every gun is a bullet hose. "Spray and pray" style doesn't appeal to me much. CoD2 and World at War were my favorites because most of the weapons were still semi-automatic with a big punch, making skill at landing headshots and hitting moving targets feel like it had a much bigger impact.
Don't fuck this up Treyarch
Don't fuck this up Treyarch
Sledgehammer is making it.
Sledgehammer is making it.
Oh, well I'm skipping this year I guess and sledgehammer is going to be fucking balls
But you know what that means
Treyarch would have 3 years to make something, they normally get about 1-2 years, and Treyarch do amazing things with their short amount of time so Treyarch's next one is going to be amazing hopefully
I wonder who will be the bad guy?
The Russians, Chinese, or brown people of undisclosed faction?
A potential cool story would be like something like the civil war in Jerhico.
Next years CoD is Treyarch time. Which is basically the only one you should care about.
