What do you guys use to optimize SSDs? Obviously defrag doesn't work but I know there is an equivalent task for SSD to keep their read/write speed healthy.
I wash mine once a fortnight in automotive detergent and air dry for 3-4 hours. If it's being really slow I'll run it through the washing machine with some bleach, but make sure to only wash whites with it. 5-6 of air drying this time, the washing machine lets the water seep in further.
Also try not to use too much detergent or the contacts will have soap residue afterwards and won't conduct as well; this will lead to reduced performance but won't harm it.
As long as it's dry before you plug it back in it'll be fine. If it's still wet it will short circuit so be careful.

Oh yeah, if you are wondering why you need to use automotive detergent, regular detergent strips the oil coating from the PCB which can lead to rust. That's why you can't use regular dish detergent on your car, it strips the polish/wax from your car and the paint wears out faster.

This is automatically on on pretty much most SSD's already. It's called TRIM. Theres not much else to do m8.
Apart from not using the SSD at all

If the OS isn't doing it properly for you, I wouldn't count on any tools to do better. Proper drivers is all there is.
That is, assuming you're running Windows.
Google would have straight up told you.

use TRIM and check that AHCPI or whatever it's abrevated as is on in the BIOS
I use defraggler twice a day on my SSD to keep all the NAND particles in line.
