So after my so called 'feedback' (Ratings on pictures I have made..) I think I will need guidance with my painting. I wonder if anyone want to coach me or something so I can become better? Ì'm a quick learner, and I have a tablet if that is needed (Even though I don't have access to that before a week or something) ?:)
just upload some images and let people give you tips from there you can also look at different tutorials
Wait a second I'm not in the US? ö_ö Check the location on the first post, what the hell..
Just practice. It's easy as hell. I haven't had no 'coaching' or whatever and I'm not artistic, but my drawings turn out fine. Just use the pencil tool.
I don't know really, trying to be open-minded.. But uhh, persons, things? :P Locations? I have no idea :o
That'd be awesome, if you really want that
Just head over to this thread and post your drawings that you made. Don't feel shy/ashamed to post your stuff, it's impossible to improve without mistakes. I'm pretty sure if you ask for constructive criticism in that thread along with your post you'll get some help. If not I will (but i'm going to bed right now so I can't help for a good 10 hours or so.) Also, if you can't think of anything to draw you can just draw faces (that's what I do at least.) And it doesn't have to be a specific person, just random faces. And if this is your first time using a tablet, I suggest getting use to the feel of it, open up paint and just draw circles, many many circles (it may sound silly but it helps a lot.)
Blargh that's why I made them in the first place :suicide:
You say you're a quick learner, that's good. But do you have the patience? Becoming a better drawer is going to be extremely time-consuming and you will have plenty of pictures that you will spend a lot of time on, only to have to scratch it all. Are you willing to spend countless hours on drawings? Are you willing to draw stuff that does not interest you for the sake of learning? I am a pretty bad artist myself but I consider myself a pretty competent musician, and the lessons I have learned while honing my craft there can be transcribed to the art of drawing. =)

And I have found that they are similar in different respects. What Dick is saying is correct, countless hours of grinding at a piece of work just to toss it. It's true, it tends to happen, whether you want it to or not. Don't just create a piece and tell yourself it's better. Make it better, and if you think it's perfect, see if you can make it even better after that. There's always room for improvement. Both of these things can be applied both to making music, and making art.

You should check out the collaborative thread, we're always looking for more musicians to contribute to it. =)
I'll take these words deep in mind, since I know that of the end of the day, and there is just two people on the planet, someone would want the other somebody drawed. *Salutes*
