• Porn belongs in the classroom, says Danish professor
A leading sexologist in Denmark has called for pornography to be shown in the classroom, claiming that starting a debate about the industry could help teenagers become “conscientious and critical consumers” who are able to tell the difference between pornography and the reality of sexual relationships. Prof Christian Graugaard of Aalborg University caused a furore in Denmark when he suggested on public television that pornography should be shown in schools. This was preferable, he told the Danish public broadcaster DR, to sex education classes that were “boring and technical, where you roll a condom onto a cucumber”. Graugaard’s proposal is not simply following in the long tradition of sexually permissive Scandinavia. It is, he insists, a sensible way of teaching teenagers that pornography is nothing like real sex. “My proposal is to critically discuss pornography with 8th and 9th graders [age 15 – the legal age of consent in Denmark – and 16 respectively] as part of a sensible didactic strategy, carried out by trained teachers,” he told the Guardian. “We know from research that a vast majority of teenagers have seen porn at an early age – so it’s not a question of introducing youngsters to porn,” he added. According to one Nordic study, 99% of boys and 86% of girls in Scandinavia have already seen pornographic films by the time they’re 16. What Graugaard wants is to make sure teens “possess the necessary skills to view porn constructively”. “We should strengthen their ability to distinguish between the media’s depictions of the body and sex and the everyday life of an average teenager. They should become conscientious and critical consumers.”
Read more: Source
Graugaard’s proposal is not simply following in the long tradition of sexually permissive Scandinavia. Teens get crazy stupid over believing that what happens in porn will most certainly happen in the bedroom.
At first I thought this was gonna be some crazy shit, but it's pretty logical, really. Too many people think women want to be fuckin' choked and pounded until their vagina's black and blue or something ridiculous like that

This will just cause horrible confusion when there is a French Oral Exam
I'm honestly curious, how is sex in real life different from that in porn? (I haven't seen either)
I am reminded of the tale of one guy who grew up looking at Grecian marbles. When he eventually had the opportunity to become intimate with a woman, he found he could not out of disgust at how she did not reflect what he had become accustomed to in lusting after the statuary. Because they reflected some perfect ideal, rather than reality. And they didn't have pubic hair.
what
Girls irl don't have enough stamina.
Sorta like how WWE is different from a bar brawl E: a middle school fight
says the person with a completely sexualized avatar edit: maybe sexualized is the wrong word.. caricatured? idk
that awkward moment when no one can reply seriously because no one on FP has ever gotten laid [editline]16th March 2015[/editline] for real though it's generally a lot to do with unrealistic expectations for penis size/body image/human stamina working off of your avatar it's kind of like how in anime highschoolers are all quirky and exciting and involved in all sorts of neat things (lolsakurasou) but real life highschool is basically completely nothing like that and filled with ordinary people doing ordinary shit
This is why I only watch amateur porn, that way I have realistic expectations when it comes to the real thing.
Serious answer: The vast majority of straight porn is aimed at the average man's sexual fantasies. It doesn't involve romance, and the pleasure of the female partner is irrelevant. I suppose what it shows is more like sex with a prostitute than with your girlfriend or friend with benefits.
I have to say that the sexual education here in Denmark is already pretty solid, but education should always be relevant and can always be improved. At my school they had a couple of slightly older students come by (around 18 or so) and they took it very seriously, but still had a youthful point of view. That and people did not have to ask awkward questions to their regular teachers.
This is why I only watch amateur porn, that way I have realistic expectations when it comes to the real thing.
A lot of that is also exhibitionist and thus somewhat staged. [editline]a[/editline] muh merge
I honestly disagree with this. They can look up porn if they want at home. They should just focus on realistic portrayal of sex in class.
Oh wow it feels like middle school all over in this thread :v:
"But think about the children, they might imitate this and have premarital sex" -every pta meeting in america
The main difference is that I don't have a mandingo penis.
Its tiring as fuck if one person is doing the moving, and the romantic parts are actually the best parts. It's good, but doesn't beat cuddles. oh and its embarrassingly awkward at first.
imagine in the newly reformed sex ed class. The teacher passes out dildos to every student to teach them about it. And then later on teacher happens to show their homemade videos. much boner confusion was made that day.
This is why I only watch amateur porn, that way I have realistic expectations when it comes to the real thing.
plus tbh it's way better to stomach fabricated porn is just hard to look at now. the women have these fuckin strange ass physiques. what a fucking nightmare
breaking news: after porn shown in schools, kids get detentions expecting their teachers to sleep with them
He's got a point. Teens get crazy stupid over believing that what happens in porn will most certainly happen in the bedroom.
But you can just tell them about it. I mean porn is unrealistic, not much else to say about it. I don't get what spending time to show it would actually accomplish.
I honestly disagree with this. They can look up porn if they want at home. Explaining in detail what true sexuality is like seems more constructive. Maybe I'm just a prude.
