Hey guys, recently I've ran into a little problem with TF2,
Example:

I've uninstalled TF2, (deleted local content) but nothing works, can anyone help?
Is this just with TF2? Have you tried changing the mouse sensitivity?

This is just with TF2, and I have just tried changing the mouse sensitivity.
Go into the TF2 folder and go into the cfg directory, and delete all the files in there, then try starting the game

Oddly, that didn't work.., what is going on? >_>
Have you tried raw input, also try disabling mouse acceleration in the control panel.

I have tried raw input, and where can I even find how to disable mouse acceleration? (Windows 7)

Bump
Hope this helps. Then again it could be a driver issue with the mouse perhaps.

I doubt that will help since that's a global option and it's not happening in any other game, this is a very odd issue I'm not really sure what's causing it

That wasn't the case either, it was already unticked, I'm not sure what's happening, perhaps it's my mouse? if this helps, I recently found this in my console while inspecting:
"JOY_AXIS_X: mapped to Turn (absolute)
JOY_AXIS_Y: mapped to Look (absolute)
JOY_AXIS_Z: unmapped
JOY_AXIS_R: mapped to Forward (absolute)
JOY_AXIS_U: mapped to Side (absolute)
JOY_AXIS_V: unmapped
Advanced Joystick settings initialized

If your mouse does have option to change DPI sensor sensitivity, why you don't change it to lower setting?
IE: you set 2400 DPI, you change that to 1000 DPI or lower(if applicable), which should make the cursor move slower without changed cursor speed in "Mouse properties" control panel applet in card "Cursor settings".

A Friend of mine has his set to 1600-2400DPI, I don't know how the fuck you can manage that... I'm more used to 800DPI personally.
I tried changing my DPI, but that still doesn't effect the sensitivity of the mouse in game, this has been dragging out for a long time x.x.
Have you tried changing the sensitivity from the console, or just from the config menu?
Open the console and type "sensitivity x" where x is a number from 1-inf. 7-15 is pretty standard, but you can try experimenting with other values to see if it solves your problem.

That does fix my moving vertically, but unfortunately that doesn't help when it comes to moving horizontally. Thank you.
type in console:
cl_yawspeed 0
That didn't help either.
Maybe surface, on which mouse is moved is causing problem? Some optical mice might not work well on shiny surfaces.

I'm using a mat to move my mouse on, I have a shiny table (wood) that i'm using the mat on, but it's the same mat i've been using and before I've experienced no problems. :(

Also, I tried with another account, if that helps.
Please help. I can't find a solution.
I find this in console:
"Using joystick 'Xbox360 controller"joy_advanced 1joy_advaxisx 3joy_advaxisy 1joy_advaxisz 0joy_advaxisr 2joy_advaxisu 4joy_advaxisv 0joy_forwardsensitivity -1joy_sidesensitivity 1joy_pitchsensitivity 1.0joy_yawsensitivity -1.25joy_autoaimdampenrange 0.85joy_aut' configuration
JOY_AXIS_X: mapped to Side (absolute)
JOY_AXIS_Y: mapped to Forward (absolute)
JOY_AXIS_Z: unmapped
JOY_AXIS_R: mapped to Look (absolute)
JOY_AXIS_U: mapped to Turn (absolute)
JOY_AXIS_V: unmapped

It relates to the files that I have in my config file.
I don't think that it's my mouse, because if it was, my mouse would be effected in the process of searching the internet, and this only applies while playing TF2.
Do you have an xbox 360 controller connected to your pc? Try unplugging it and see if that helps.

No, I do not have an xbox 360 controller plugged into my pc, but thanks anyways.

I think it tries to use a non-existant xbox 360 controller and messes up your controls.
Try going to device manager and see if there's something that says "xbox 360"

Excuse my stupidity, but how can I check if there is something a long the lines of "xbox 360" in my device manager. Of course, I'm there, but how would I actually look? Click on everything until I see something called xbox 360? Again, sorry.

If you see something like in the square, expand it, rightclick everythingthing inside the "xbox 360 peripherals" and press on "disable"
if you don't see anything like what i just showed, i have no idea whats the problem

Aaaaah, that isn't there, but really, thank you so much for helping, and that goes along for everybody.
The only other thing I can think of is going into launch options and putting in -autoconfig to see if that fixes it (it'll make everything default, you have been warned).
