Bad eh? I took a lot of advice on a Graphics Board and spent most of the night practising and the above sigs are the result. Also the first sig on the top of the page used to look like this. (Still looks bad seeing as It came from Google and wasn't cut out well by myself.)
Generic raped sigs. Except here also text doesn't fit.
Generic raped sigs. Except here also text doesn't fit.
Any advice on how I could improve next time?
Any advice on how I could improve next time?
Filterrape the text more.
Filterrape the text more.
You may not like my sigs at all and see problems with it but if you aren't even willing to help and just flame a polite request then leave. Also the only time I even went near Filters was for Motion Blur.
They're all fine I guess. I just really don't like sigs.
The text definitely doesn't fit, grunge doesn't fit with everything. And next time try making a different kind of sig, instead of your generic c4d background/video game render. Try something minimalist. Like this: For making backgrounds like that, it's best to use render>clouds and distort>glass, then smudge it anyway you like.

Keep training, my best suggestion
Less is more, block sigs like that arent really the thing people go for now. Work on having your sig have a transparent background so that it fits right in with its surroundings. Heres an example: Im not saying that the one in the example is the best sig your going to see, and it might not be to everyones tastes but it blends in with its surroundings well. Also: Less is more.
you altered the levels, and layer setting on existing good artwork. Ruining it. What exactly are we supposed to credit you for?
stop posting sigs, nobody gives two shits about a filter raped thing you pooped out in a half hour.
How do you make that like, "3d" bit, the white curve at the top, makes it look reflective? also the stripes? thanks
No offence, most of them are pretty weak Made this in 15 min: BONK!
you really have no right to talk as that one is pretty shitty too
He has all rights to say what he wants.
My older sig (3-4 weeks) Don't tase me bro Btw,don't use that font on your sigs, makes them even weaker, and don't filter rape sig, make render flow with it
You have to be careful with text as it can ruin a sig if you do it wrong. Instead of loading up with filters and effects try making it simple and changing the blend mode to soft light or overlay.

Looks like you got the background somewhat right, but the render ruins it and doesn't fit.
Sigs are annoying.
I dislike siggers
Looks like you got the background somewhat right, but the render ruins it and doesn't fit.
How are you meant to make it fit then?
Sometimes you just can't, you have to think about how you want it to turn out before you make it and not just run into it without planning anything. The main way to make a render fit into the background is called blending, look up some tutorials on it.
A bit more like this?
Render has lightning, and thus, ruins the sig. [editline]09:20PM[/editline] Is it just me,or he is giving artistic himself?
How about this?
Not to mention above post, text is also awful.
This thread reminds me about how much I love the fact that FP doesn't have signatures. Oh, right, contributing... Block signs are pretty dull, try a sphere or something. Think outside the square.
I think the 2nd Walker one is an improvement over the first. But in general the sigs either have way too much going on in them and no definite style. It might be too bland and clean for most people who like sigs, but I am more partial to pics along these lines.
