This keeps coming up with both the 32 and 64 bit installers.

Just googling your CPU is enough to determine if it's x64 architecture or x86.

Also, why use iTunes? Apple is such a money pirate these days.

First of all, yes - you get a overview that it CAN RUN 64 bit. That doesn't mean the operating system is 64-bit and his problem is that his operating system is messing up these details
AND iTunes is a good program IMO. You don't HAVE to use their store. I still do once in a while if I find something good.
Here's a tip: Don't use iTunes.
Here's a tip: Stop shitposting about how you don't like itunes and help him with his problem
I'm not entirely sure this will help, but if you have the windows disc for you OS, try reinstalling windows over windows. This way you won't lose any of your files/programs, and if there are any corrupt or missing system files, they will be replaced.
Also, you could try doing a system restore, or even put in the OS disc and try a repair first.

I would just say clean install.. But I wanted to rule out stuff before that.

This has nothing to do with your cpu. Its the OS thats 64 or 32 bit. Every desktop cpu is x86, and has been so for 20+ years.

Realized typed something really stupid by now.
My apologies for my stupidity.:v:
Right then, I have decided to do a clean install.
This problem is impossible to find because it probably never happens as much, thanks somewhat for the effort guys!
