Don't wanna rush out a game I guess, so this is good.

And for a trigger-sensitive game like Arma, let's hope they put that time to good use; especially since the campaign is apparently going to be like that Manhattan mission from Arma 2 (one HUUUUGE level with a bazillion triggers/events).
Cool with me. Here's to hoping Carrier Command is ArmA with robits.
[editline]7th February 2012[/editline]
Also ArmA 3's campaign is going to suck but I'll play it anyway, just like I did with every other game Bohemia has ever made.
I love ArmA 2, and I don't want a rushed sequel so I'm fine with this.
As long as they optimize it, and keep the modding abilities for people, it will be great.
ENEMY deadline to our FRONT, CLOSE
Maybe they're just recording more voice overs.

as long as the campaign doesnt feature friendly units crashing/driving into trees, thus fucking up the whole mission, i don't mind.
Also hopefully AI will actually be able to drive properly, instead of slowing down to 10km/h and going of the road every second turn
Metro last light,

Pretty sure Dwarden has already said that they will always have modding possibilites in ARMA games.

People who disagree to this don't really know what they're talking about.
People who disagree to this don't really know what they're talking about.
I do, ArmA has never been able to capture intense urban battles, and you usually only see a enemy every half hour.. or once every hour or so if you're playing Warfare.
Prove me otherwise, I don't mean fighting against stupid AI's with no brain I mean PvP.
Hooray another benchmark so I can feel even more inferior.
People who disagree to this don't really know what they're talking about.
People who disagree to that are smart and actually manage to realize that they're 2 completely opposite games.

ArmA isn't supposed to capture intense urban battles, it's supposed to simulate war, war isn't 24/7 intense shootouts.

You're obviously playing it wrong.

I mean that it's immensely superior in terms of moddability, gameplay customisability and scale of the whole thing making it a game you can enjoy alot longer than BF3. BF3 is a great game but it doesn't really have the same replay value and possibilities that arma offers.

50% stupid, 50% blank-eyed bias.

Yeah, that's because they're 2 completely different things focused on entirely different stuff.

Wowe aren't you quick to judge.

Do you even know what war is like?
Sure, there are intense points in war, but most of it is standing and doing watch.
gonna be better then bf3 IMO
They're two totally different games.
