Doesn't matter if you live in the U.S, just trying to get a glimpse of public opinion. In my opinion, Libertarianism for the win.
please don't discuss politics. [editline]05:51PM[/editline] it ends in shitstorm

Democracy with a removal of parties. Anyone who preaches anarchy or communism doesn't know shit about human nature.
A *good* one.
One very similar to ours, only with less partisan politics, but that isn't entirely a system, it's something social. Our base government set up is not a horrible one. We have tiny problems that are for the most part caused by social attitudes. It's difficult to change them through politics. There are governments that are almost exactly like the government we use in the United States (Canada, France, etc.) that are doing better than everyone else in the world and have a better standard of living than anyone else in the world, but there are minor differences in the government. One problem we have in the American government is how easy it is as times to corrupt it. One thing that makes it easier to corrupt is that the corrupt politicians round up everyone who supports their party and let's them get away with whatever they want. Americans have something, but because we have something, we get arrogant and it causes us to become ignorant. France insults us for it, but it is very possible that the same will happen to them. We kind of learned from the Bush mistake about how much to trust the government and power, but we may be going too far the other direction. A lot of democrats also look for reason to dislike Obama and say that he's not the "president they expected him to be" just so they look less sheepish, when in reality Obama hasn't done much in either direction. He was made new laws that have hurt us, but made new laws right after those laws to stop the negative effects of his other laws. From what I've observed, he has been successful with that. He also, with the help of a lot of other Americans, has been handling Haiti well. It's too soon to say how good of a president he is though. Our system is great, however, there needs to be a few tweaks here and there.
democracy is fine, just find incorruptible leaders or robots

That's a grrrreat idea.
Communism. Nah, jk. Its only good in some cases.
One built upon a solid foundation of scientology, abortion and a mass welfare system. Government controlled factories that produce a limited amount of goods each year would be nice too.
The one we have right now is just fine. Though there are a few socialist policies that we should get rid of (i.e. welfare)
a canadian goverment. (We got free health care suckas) (remember when I called you guys "suckas"? well i'm sorry, i diddn't mean it)
Communist. Either that or Democratic Socialist.
i dont think we should have a government, let us roam free. nothing would get done but it would be fun :P
Oligarchy. Politburo, more so. I'm tired of relying on one person, we need a group of smart powerful people so we can brainstorm shit before doing it. Congress just doesn't quite cut it anymore. Sure, they're our brainstormers and I'm contradicting myself here... But, congress is terrible in my opinion. The ultimate decision should be left up to 3 or more people, not just one executive decision.
The one we have now.
I also think that we Americans often don't understand what we have, or how lucky we are to have it and how much worse we could be doing. We embarrass ourselves on a global scale sometimes, but this isn't a bad country. I'm not saying "USA #1, motherfuckers!", but we have a good country and I think we need to be more grateful with what we have. Don't feel guilty, just realize where you are.
I'd rather keep it the way it is. The government's setup is pretty effective, the biggest problem (that i see) is that the rules are often ignored or interpreted in ways that i find incorrect or harmful to me, and these are often overlooked by the courts, and general public, even when something is done that directly violates the constitution. This has been happening since the first law was written, ever, and we should be more punishing on individuals who would ignore the rules. Public opinion and the opinions of the assholes in power are what I'm most concerned about, as that's what generates the corruption (lack of faith in the constitution/lack of morality), which in turn allows laws to be passed and decisions made which i dislike (I'm a conservative by it's definition in America) but that's a matter of waiting till they make big enough fools of themselves/what's hip and cool changes (youths always follow their friends' favorite celebrity's gut) so that it is more in favor of my desires.
The ultimate decision should be left up to 3 or more people, not just one executive decision.
The ultimate decision is left to up to over 500 people, not just one executive decision. You need to learn government.
The United States should become an anarchy. Just sayin'.
