The base tickrate isn't changing. This is an adaptive local thing between players.

It's been in early access since October
I've noticed no change but then again I only got two rounds in before quitting.
Reinstalled BF3 yesterday to play with friends who got it for free and the gunplay is far better and more reliable.

The netcode still isn't "perfect" but the change can definitely be felt.
They should do a free weekend so people can see the improvements for themselves. I for one am not ready to buy this game until I see more evidence
Ha. It kicked me for having DXtory.
But, it seems a little better so far. No real issues here.
is it me or did the latency on the gunshot example look the same
definitely an improvement with the jumping though from what i saw

No changes we're made to the tickrate this patch. Serverside tickrate increased to 30 hz last month. And Hi-Fi network update is not a change in local tickrate. Don't be rude over nothing.
