Anyone here have an iPhone 4 and from day 1 never used a case, screen protector, etc?

Well, I got the iPhone 4 in September 2010, and it marks 1 year of not using a screen protector, case, etc. The only, and ONLY scratch I have a small one at the back when I scrapped it off a wooden plank. But that's it, and it's not like I cared about my iPhone 4, I threw it around, I dropped it a lot of times, and I treated it like shit.
My philosophy is: If it ain't come with a case, no need for one.
Sure, if they included these things, I would use them.
Anyone else like this?
On my iPhone 4, I used a case. On my Atrix 4G, since the back is replaceable, I did not feel the need to. However I always use screen protectors.
I'm getting an otter box for mine, I can be clumsy and it'll make me feel better about it. I threw my windows mobile phone around a lot (because seriously, who gives a shit about windows mobile anymore?). Now that I'll have a nicer phone, I want to take care of it.

Me. I may sell mine though, always that fear of dropping it which I never had with my previous iPhone.. guess i'm just like that :v:
I used the bumper on my original iPhone 4 for about a week then gave up on it. Apart form that never used a case on my iPhone 3G or my new iPhone 4
Black bumper case, front screen protector and a Gelaskin for the back. Would like to get a shield for the back since the phone does look nice but until I get money ain't changing anything.
I never used any protection and I haven't looked back

that's what she said
I had an iPhone 4 for 2 weeks, gave it back because the reception problem was REALLY bad on my device...

Gee, American reception must suck terribly.
Over her I could grasp the phone as hard as I want in any hand and still have great reception.
Never had a reception problem and the death of grip is just a gimmick for people to attack. No one holds their device like that.

Yeah, I've never heard real people complain about "MY PHONE RECEPTION FUCKS UP WHEN I HOLD IT IN A NON-ERGONOMIC WAY AND SQUEEZE REALLY HARD"
aka "doctor it hurts when I do this!"
I used to have a bumper for mine, but it broke after about a month. I don't have any other protection it's scratched like shit on the back but I don't really care much about that. One small scratch next to the home button though, but nothing on the screen itself so it's fine for me.
My friend needs a better case. He drops his iPhone 4 daily. His carbon fiber case pops right off the moment it hits the ground, leaving it vulnerable while skidding across the pavement. It isn't destroyed yet though, thankfully. If there is one thing Apple is great at, it's durability.
dont buy the apple bumper case, its shit and scratches the aluminum on your phone

and i'm waiting for the rear glass panel to break so i can buy an aftermarket metal one
I have mine in my otterbox. It'd be dead by now if I didn't. It's not that I don't care for it, I do, it's just it occasionally slips out of my pocket when I'm getting out and that'd be a death fall for sure.
some screen protectors fail, most of them do anyways
Screen protectors aren't meant to take hits. They protect against light wear and tear damage that's about it.It wouldn't do much if you dropped it, but it'll keep the marks made by the sand in your jean pockets at bay.
I have had an iPod Touch 3G for almost two years now, and it's perfectly fine shape. My friend bought an iPod Touch 4G at the beginning of the year, cracked the screen after a few months and now it is broken. I drop mine all the time, and it's fine....
It's be great if iPod's were like the iPhone. The shiny metal backing of an iPod can never stay clear of scratches, prompting us to buy a case (well I did anyway, first iPod, I treasure it). My friend has an iPhone and he has a case, is the back suppose to be scratch resistant?
I haven't used any sort of protective case aside from when I went to London a few times, and my iPhone practically looks pristine. I guess it's just down to how you use your device. Some people slide their phones along tables and shit for whatever reason, and I don't. I figure it's all down to how you use it.
I've never had a case or screen protector for my 4 since launch day.
Durable as shit
iPod Touch 2G is in a case and it's holding up pretty good imo.
