• Rubbish pollution sign

Hello guys! Tomorrow I made simple sign (it also can be a sticker) on a "rubbish pollution" theme. The text on the sign says that "You are not allowed to litter here". The main task of the competition is to make sign, that people would like to post in a place where they relax (nature, for example). So it should be clear, original and people should take it as a sign as they just look on it. Now the sign. Minimalistic. Russian variant. English variant. I want to recieve critics on this. If you have advices, feel free to share it with me. In this work I followed the principle, that sign (road sign, for example) should not be full of details. You know that on speed about 60-70 km/h it's too difficult to read a lot of text on road signs. Here is just the same. People walk, people throw their rubbish and don't actually want to read a lot of text when they see that someone calls to throw their rubbish in urn. My main task was to make it clear as glass. You looked -> you understood -> you did so. And the main part of this all. If you like this sign and/or want to support me with it, you can simply vote for it here: http://rosmusor.info/2057 I would really appreciate you. - to vote for. Thanks in advance, Artemy
Sorry, can't read it. Would help if it was in English
Sorry, can't read it. Would help if it was in English
I said that "The text on the sign says that "You are not allowed to litter here" :) Okay, if you wish, I can make it in English. If it's not necessary, you can just vote. Simple as never (:
Quite honestly it looks fine, its simple and straight to the point.
Lower position of text a little.

Why would it be green and look like there is a trashcan next to it if you AREN'T allowed to litter at it?
Quite honestly it looks fine, its simple and straight to the point.
Thanks a lot! Nice to hear it. You can vote for it, if you want to :) [editline]21st June 2012[/editline]
Lower position of text a little.
Thanks! Will try to experiment with it. Refreshed main post of this topic. Looks like something wrong with english fonts, but it's just for preview. [editline]21st June 2012[/editline]
Why would it be green and look like there is a trashcan next to it if you AREN'T allowed to litter at it?
No, not in this way. The main idea is "here we don't litter. We throw our rubbish in trashcans."
I would never be able to tell that by looking at the picture. It would be nice if there were a recycle/thumb up icon or something as to show that recycling is good. Like in the other pictures on that site.

I don't know why people associate this two definitions. Anyway. Thanks a lot.
This isn't about you, this is about the public. You're making this sign for a public area, and not everyone shares the same opinion as you do.

These signs are good. And these too. It's totally clear where to go. But what about this? Or this? Or even this. Signs should be informative, yes, but they shoudn't contain a lot of information. That's called art :)
