Spanish nurse Teresa Romero has been cured of Ebola. Doctors at Carlos III hospital in Madrid said Tuesday that the 44-year-old was officially clear of the virus. Romero was the first case of Ebola contracted outside of West Africa. She tested negative for the virus on Sunday, but the hospital was awaiting the results of a second test to confirm she no longer had Ebola.
The news are quite recent so there arent a lot of non-spanish sources http://www.thedailybeast.com/cheats/2014/10/21/spanish-nurse-cured-of-ebola.html Guess we aren't going to die afterall.
R.I.P. Ebola
So long as we can contain it, the more advanced medical processes of the west should help with that 30% survival rate. But on the other hand, this might encourage more people to try to come here to get cured.. Fuck.
