So I spent the whole day writing up a script that let's you make use of other people's ebay mistakes. Basically it searches eBay for cheap auctions posted by people who are new to the site, so they don't know how to sell well. For the best catches I would check the site around 1AM - 4AM, so you don't have any competition. I've still got a lot to implement... but I'm posting it here for suggestions. I just got it running, and so far I've found a pocket PC that went for 99 cents with 2 dollars shipping and an airsoft gun that went for 99 cents with free shipping. Here's the site http://fuyuchi.com/thebay/
Exploitation at its worst.
Exploitation at its worst.
it's called finding deals
i bought a saxo modders book for £5, its 20 in stores.. and lowering springs for 15, usually like 40
it's called finding deals
They're not intentional deals.
posted by people who are new to the site, so they don't know how to sell well.
dya wanna make a UK one too..
If stores put things on sale when they shouldn't be or advertise the sale as lower then they wanted or leave the signs up past the day it was supposed to end they have to sell it to you for sale price. It's sorta like that. People put the number in.. this just makes you search for those mistakes. I'm too lazy to get it.. but someone may like this. That's fucking genious.
Except most sellers are US based and they don't ship internationally, and half of FP is British.

Needs search tags.
Amazing
This is cool, but can you make a tag for non-free shipping? That way you can sort that out and make it so only things with free shipping show.
Truly innovating.
I've always thought this would be a wonderful idea. Thanks for capitalizing on it this will be useful in the future.

Snagged that Need 4 Speed game for the PSP. 2 bucks!
I just want a way to filter out things, but other then that, brilliant :buddy:
I would of kept it for myself, less competition
Add a search or a filter and this is amazing.
you are my earthly god
holy shit this is awesome
So many marksmanship badges...
... and ufc photos. This is a great idea though. Like others have said, if you add either a search function or an ability to filter with the tags you may have created a service people will pay to use.
Needs a UK version.
Bookmarked site.
Do a UK version please.
