• Linux Mint 8 Problems

So, I installed Linux Mint 8, love it, except for the fact that I can't connect to wireless internet. I am now stuck with no internet and forced to use another computer. I have Mint on my Samsung N130 net book. Along with this, I (foolishly) deleted Windows 7 Starter, since I now have a Linux distribution on my hard drive, I didn't think I would encounter a problem. So the question is: How do I connect to my wireless internet? OR: How can I install another operating system that works on my net book by flash drive? ( It's 8GB, by the way.) Thanks in advance.
I can't believe I haven't gotten a response yet... Is this forum dead?
Try posting under Linux section
I didn't post in the Linux section because, IMO, my question was specific enough to refer just to that. Anyway, thanks for the attempted help, but after persistent searching, I was able to find an answer.
I had this problem before with Ubuntu, but I don't remember how I fixed it.
I'm a Linux Mint 8 user. Been using Mint since Celena (3.1) Try loading the Windows Wireless Driver in NDISwrapper, or install MadWifi. If all else fails, there's always Ethernet (Which I prefer).
From what I understand it can take some time for wireless drivers to be developed for Linux. Check your manufacture's site for drivers, you might get lucky.
