This game is way too much imo.
Should be more around the $10-15 range.
Why does the idea of this game bring out this evil feeling in me?
Ohh yeah, its a "Tycoon" game. The series where you feel inexplicably drawn to trying to murder as many large crowds of people as you can as fast as you can.
I remember more about trying to find a way to launch entire cars of people off the end of a track at ultra-high speeds in Roller Coaster Tycoon than I do anything else.

I imagine if you want to kill mass amounts of people in this, you just need a severely low security budget. I'd imagine if you set it low enough, terrorists won't have a problem hijacking your planes.
Why do these tycoon games make the characters look ridiculous as possible
Stylized is one thing but this about goes beyond

That's actually the objective of these games, the creators are psychopaths who ought to be locked up

Because modern simulators try very hard to make the player notice variation between NPCs, but when you have a bunch of them onscreen at once it's hard to make it apparent without being obnoxious about it. In a game like The Sims it works because the player created the characters, but in other games it's all decided by an AI.
Compare this to the Chris Sawyer days where the only aesthetic variation in NPCs was shirt color.
What ever happened to Sawyer? Haven't heard about him in years. Did he just run off with his tens of millions of dollars and stop working?

Yep
No, He's working on Cities in Motion.
That man has a love for rail based vehicles.
