• Dad needs highest performance prebuilt

So my dad wants to buy a new desktop for his business, but he wants to buy a prepbuilt pc with the best performance he can get. As far as price range he doesn't care as far as I know. He needs it all by the end of the week hopefuly so he has no time for building. He needs it for a Microsoft Acess application that will be running for 6 days doing calculations. So basically the highest performance processor, hardrive(s), and ram, available in a prebuilt desktop. Other than that the gpu shouldn't be a high performance card. Thank you very much.
http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Level_10_-_X58 Really pricey, built for gaming and can handle the job probably to last up to 10 days without problems, I do recommend this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882750021&cm_re=power_surge_protector-_-82-750-021-_-Product to prevent power surges
No budget. Wants prebuilt. Augh.
I know, but he just needs it for his business not for gaming.
I know, but he just needs it for his business not for gaming.
We can get you a very powerful custom for $500 that will be as good as ~$800 prebuilts
If he only needs one PC for his business, he may as well build it, it only takes an hour or 2 for your first time (:v:). As for best money can buy, may as well aim for i7 2600 8gb ram The hard drives are really up to the budget. If you need performance, you're probably looking at a RAID 0 setup, and if you need security of data you're looking at RAID 1 or RAID 1+0 if you need both performance and security. Then you can either set up multiple HDDs (like the Spinpoint F3 1TB), or if you want to go crazy multiple SSDs. Personally, I can't imagine hard drive performance will be that important, so I'd be inclined just to get 2 Spinpoint F3s and put them in RAID 1. I don't know about the availability of the Sandy Bridge processors outside of my country though, so that might not be feasible in your timeframe.
Go on ibuypower.com and choose the most expensive one with the best processor.
Just chose everything that costs the most, because the more money it is, the more powerful it is, obviously :downs:
Tell him to get that Origin PC with the EVGA SR2 and built in Xbox 360. :downs:
How much hard drive space is needed?
I have a Dell Optiplex GX280 I can sell you for $1130!
