Available in a 23.6-inch or 27-inch model, the monitor is compatible with all mobile devices using the Qi wireless charging standard—recently adopted by Swedish home store Ikea. The wireless charging pad built into the bottom of the SE370 allows for easy access and eliminates the need for tangles of wires and clogged charging ports. Just place your handset on the circular area to initiate charging, which will be confirmed by an LED light.
of all appliances to incorporate a charging device into, why a [del]tv[/del] monitor?
of all appliances to incorporate a charging device into, why a [del]tv[/del] monitor?
I have a QI charging plate sitting under my monitor. My desk is my goto location, and ontop of my monitor's base is the perfect out-of-the-way space to place my phone.
of all appliances to incorporate a charging device into, why a [del]tv[/del] monitor?
The bottom stand would have otherwise gone unused, plus it saves some space since you don't have to find a place to set down a dedicated wireless charger.
I always have to laugh at videos that try to compare monitors, while most likely being viewed on a monitor. The comparison screens are always the worst screens imaginable. Also could they not have ran that advert script through someone that speaks English rather than just Google Translate? I've got to say it seems like an interesting product, I'd certainly be interested in having a monitor that can charge my phone at the base. I hate having to have USB cables fed around the back of my desk.
I love how it shows 60hz/fps and yet the footage on the monitor is like 15-20
Fun fact: nvidia can support amd freesync and it would only be a software patch but they won't until D.P 2 because they actually have to lose to it and have it standardized first.
Jesus, title makes it sound like samsung did something impressive. Take wireless charging technology + monitor, glue them together = Done.
Why TERA of all games?
Why TERA of all games?
because Samsung says it's THE game.
i feel like the wireless charging is a gimmick. freesync is a nice touch but i honestly never see screen tearing on my 144hz monitor even when at 30-40 fps in some games
Why TERA of all games?
Someone must have thought that it would be funny to use it as an example of game where TEARing can disappear.

Also less wear an tear on the mini-usb outlet
Why TERA of all games?
it's really popular in Korea
