This will be my first time building my own PC. I need to know if all these parts are compatible with each other. I believe they are, but I just need to make sure. Feel free to post any suggestions.
Will be used mostly for gaming and video editing.

The CPU and motherboard are different sockets, Either :
> You need a motherboard with the 1150 Socket.
> OR a Ivy/Sandybridge 1155 socket CPU
1155 and 1150 are not compatible
I'd also recommend a "K" skew CPU if you plan on overclocking it.
Edit :
Some more recommendations would be is to balance out your build more.
You wont need a VelociRaptor, They're overpriced like a mother fucker (£100). Get a WD blue @ 1 TB(£50), double your storage and half your costs and put it towards better parts (A more expensive case for better quality .etc) Don't worry about performance being lower on a blue, so long as you don't get a green, the performance should suffice.
Switched them with:
Intel Core i7-3770 Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I73770
Western Digital WD Blue WD10EZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive - OEM
Will they work now? also, I don't intend on overclocking.

For general storage yeah they're way over priced, but if you get a couple smaller ones and put them in RAID they're faster than most other drives, and a decent amount of storage without the price or potential wear-n-tear of an SSD.
But for just general file storage (Videos, pictures, music) they'd be a waste.

If you aren't overclocking, don't pay extra to overclock. The ONLY advantage of the z77 motherboard and "K" suffix on the processor is overclocking. You also only need to buy a cooler if you plan on overclocking. If I were you, I would squeeze in a little extra and go haswell. Get the 4770 with an 1150 motherboard.
Alright. How about these:

So if I don't intend on overclocking I absolutely do not need a cpu cooler?

It wont hurt to get yourself a aftermarket CPU cooler even if you are not overclocking. Intel stokies do work okay, but in my experience they run a bit to warm for me on idle/100%.
You could also Get this motherboard.
Seen as you do not want to overclock the H87 chipset would suffice + it's $ 50 cheaper.

I will.
Alright so how does this look?

I'll probably be ordering everything in about 10 days. So everything will fit and line up correctly in my case right? I'm a complete dum-dum when it comes to building PCs.
The PSU is a bit on the pricey side (especially if you're not upgrading in the future), but yeah that build looks pretty tight.
edit: That's one hell of a graphics card.
I will.

Bear in mind, you can get a lot of this cheaper from other sites. I suggest using pcpartpicker.com to find the best price.

Okay. That's what I'll go with. Any other suggestions?
Will the CPU cooler work with the CPU I chose? I just noticed they're both different sockets. I'll be ordering everything tomorrow and I don't want to get a wrong part.
The one you linked from newegg? It supports LGA1150 sockets.

Actually nevermind. I was looking at the wrong website.
Do you think I would need thermal paste for the CPU cooler?
So any kind will do? I intend on getting the cheapest one.
eh.. I went and looked through them at their reviews and such but a lot of them aren't actually that good.
I'd recommend Artic MX4, unless someone else has a better suggestion. The one I'm linking should suit you fine for this, and a few other builds in the future.

Also to fit your ram into the motherboard with that cooler you will either have to take off the heat spreader on the ram, insert the ram and put it back on or put the ram in before you put the cooler on.

Are you sure that's the case if the OP puts the RAM in the rightmost and third rightmost slots, because that's usually only a problem in the leftmost and third leftmost slots.
The Artic MX4 mentioned is very high end (carbon based) cooling. It'll do it's job well, but arctic silver will suit most people fine.
