Yum for linux.
.tar.gz for linux.
.pmg for linux.
And sadly, None works.

install the windows version with wine
I did, I went "Open" With wine.
I took the liberty of uploading it for you: http://filesmelt.com/dl/install_flash_player_10_linux.deb
Normally, you download the DEB package from adobe's site.

but he needs it in steam
Oh, he needs it installed in Steam... my bad. Just open the Wine Config, and set the adobe flash installer to run in Windows XP mode. Then it should install just fine.
Umm how?
In your Menu button, go to Wine > Configure Wine
In the Applications tab, click the [Add Application...] button, and point it to your adobe installer exe.
Then under Windows Version select Windows XP.
Hit [OK] and run the adobe installer now. It should install fine.
Will try after dinner, And after watching some TV.
Where can i get a .exe? Can't find it on the website.

D: double post.
Install winetricks, it's a GUI that'll allow you to install flash as well as fonts and direct x.
I uploaded the flashplayer exe since you can't find it: http://filesmelt.com/dl/install_flash_player_ax.exe
:D thanks, I will try in a bit.

D: didn't work.
I downloaded it from your link.
Did your tut.
I clicked XP.
I applied it, I opened steam, Didn't work.
And then i restarted linux, Didn't work.
sudo apt-get install winetricks
Use that handy app
I just tried winetricks, But it broke steam D:
It loads, Opens the front page (In the program), And close.
didi you install Steam from an exe or an msi file? It really does make a difference. I usually have better luck with installing Steam from the exe.
I wasn't even aware that there was an exe for installing steam.

Many years ago it was.
That's what I'm saying, I didn't know there was one now, but he's implying that there is.
Someone could upload steam.exe and steam.dll, should download the needed files then.
