What it says in the title. If I want to give money to someone either inside or outside the US which should I do in order to get them the most money? I've heard Paypal is pretty ridiculous but I haven't seen anything concrete. Meanwhile patreon is like 5% right?
Patreon might be the best way to go as you may also get benefits
Paypal rates depend on the reason you are making a transaction. They have a big chart if http://paypal.me is being used, and unlike Australia's one, it a lot more beefier to put into words https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/paypal-fees Basically, will charge you a free in the reciever's country if you are doing an exchange rate conversion And they will charge a percentage on the money, depending on the recieving country if it's going overseas as well (this is significantly lower if it's coming from your paypal wallet, instead of a linked bank account) Transactions to US and Canada are free if they come from your paypal wallet, or an extra 2.9% if it's from your bank. They will tell you transaction fees every time before processing a payment. As they always do with regular paypal checkouts, since they follow the same rules
