Heres Mah Review :3 Why the fuck has Mr Crepsley got a mark of the Vampaneze on his cheek? Mr Tall looks nothing how he's described. The guy from Stepbrothers* playing Mr Crepsley...thats sad. Darren looks way older than he should be, and Steve looks harmless. Darren shan should be crying in his room... The Demonata should be good if there will be one

This is the same shit they did with Unfortunate events, combining books makes it fucking horrible.
The book was pretty sweet, this has potential.

The books were really good, but the ending to last the last book sucked.

I loved the Demonata and the Darren Shan series but I still have no hope at all for this movie.

Watched the trailer, any hopes I did have have now gone, I mean seriously what the fuck is this.
I can name a few things wrong with this trailer, one the atmosphere of the books just isn't there at all here and two they completely fucked up with the whole [sp]Darren turning into a vampire thing because he was forced into doing despite the fact that he absolutely hates the idea and now despises himself.[/sp]
[sp]Yet here he is playing on a PSP in the coffin, this is where he's supposed to be really messed up because he will never see his family again after just being forced to fake his own death and had to sit through their mourning concious and wanting to stop their pain but not being able to do a thing because he's paralyzed. Not to mention he's in a fucking coffin and nearly caused the death of his best friend but hey fuck that let's just make him see the whole thing as a funny little adventure.[/sp]
If this trailer is anything to go by then they have fucked up what could have been a good movie.

I liked the books but I rarely like movies based off books.

The problem with the Darren Shan books is that they [b]have[/b] to make the movies kid-friendly, because it's mainly a kid audience. This is going to be shit.

I read these a few years ago and while they weren't stellar, they were entertaining enough. The newer ones were just badly written and a bit shit in my opinion, so I stopped reading them. A film.. ehh, while I won't be watching it at least it'll distract some kids from Twilight.
That's the problem with turning books into films, You can get away with a hell of a lot more in books.

I read the first six books they were awesome.
Never managed to get hold of the next 6 so never knew what happened, but seriosly loved those books.
Just watched trailer, looks pretty awful to be honest, wrong actors for the roles, I do not think they are following the plot that well either.
I read the book. It was good but I believe that movie will suck.

They should of made this movie like 15 that would at least make it interesting to watch.

The only way they'd EVER even get CLOSE to the Demonata series in a movie would be if it was R rated.
